Holy fuck. Oli improved his singing so much I love it. Can't wait till I turn 18 and go to their concert and lose my shit in the pit- sorry for my grammar
I'm almost 100% sure at least the chorus is lip sync. Every time it hits he is always late to bring the mic to his mouth but the voice plays loud the entire time... it might just be a timing issue on the video but idkkk
It is playback. But he's not lip syncing it. Since you hear him even screaming in between the chorus which is not accurate to the studio version. Same goes in DiE4U. You should listen to another live performance(I meant different pov for the same performance), you can clearly hear when they play back track, but at the same time Oli singing. If he can sing teardrops chorus which has no backtrack, he should be easily able to sing Parasite Eve's and DiE4U's. Why does he use back track? No one knows.
He does back track on the vocals that were originally harmonies or back round vocals in the original. I've been singing for a decade and to me this performance seemed very live.
All I'm saying is when he says "it's a parasite eve" it definitely takes him time to get the mic up there even though the sound is perfect the whole time. Everybody lip syncs at one point or another, I don't really care I'm just making an observation
Indeed, I think everyone else in the comments section is blind for telling he vocaly improved by listening to this. Clear samples all the way except for screaming. But anyway, as long as we headbang to this what's the issue :p
@@maximerodriguez-medallo2192 cause you can hear him sing over the playback? You can clearly hear him scream sing some of the lines more aggressively compared to the studio version which is more tame and polished. Although some comments may over exaggerate his improvements, he definitely has, atleast compared to how fcked up and unbearable he sounded in the AMO tour.
Almost no big band can set up their full production when they play a slot on a festival, where changeover times are tight and the crew only has 15 minutes to set everything up. Bigger production needs a lot more time to be build up everytime and also logistical effort and costs to be moved around and also a bigger crew, which again costs money. A festival stage is also something very different than a dedicated concert hall, where there is enough space and attachement points to set up such a thing like the cage from the BMTH tour.
I LOVE this band but i always thought his live performances (while they were very energetic and fun) were always pretty poor in terms of voice control and singing skill in general. This however was actually pretty damn good I can't lie, so happy to see him get SO much better at singing live, fuckin pumps me up.
his screams and singing has got a lot better since post human. oli actually does the falsetto parts live during teardrops which shows he is getting better
@@misukiylambertson2764 this is the first time he’s used it live, which is why I said it shows him getting better and more confident. before he would hardly sing, but now he fully sings. he’s definitely came a long way since he first started learning to sing back In the sempertinal
Proof that he's lip syncing again; 1:20 "Move" is out of sync and a different voice than the scream he does a few seconds later. 2:11 vocals start before he starts singing.
What? At 1:20 is not put of sync and its in a different voice because he used a guttural voice. And you can see the microphone going to his mouth at 2:11 when the verse starts.
there’s some backtrack I think on the chorus , you can make out him singing tho, and that move scream is clearly not playback you need your ears to be fixed
