Flying the King Air 90 on a Veterans Airlift flight with my father from Calhoun, Georgia (KCZL) to Houston, Texas (KIAH). On this flight, we take Staff Sergent Phillips Casey and his family back home to Houston and land at the always busy George Bush Intercontinental airport at night.

Jamani, thanks for watching and I appreciate your thanks. My father and I love flying so a service like this really benefits both veteran passnegers and pilots (us). Thank you for your continued support!

Daniel, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I think my father and I feel the same way in saying this was the least we could do to pay back those who've served our nation (and lost appendages). Hope to continue these flights in the future.

Speaking as a vet, thank you. As a pilot, curious as to why you chose to stay so low, especially if fuel was going to to be close. Not judging, always looking to learn and I have a whopping 1.1 of turboprop time. Thanks.
@FlyingTexas

gasfiltered, thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! In response to your question, the editing may have made it a bit deceiving but we were actually at FL240 for the majority of the flight. The weather forecast indicated FL240 would give us our best (lower) headwind to fuel burn ratio. I'm at 0.0 turbo prop time so I envy you. :)

Thanks, Jaguar! Which sim do you run (FSX, X-Plane, etc.?) I used to fly the Carenado King Air C90B on FSX. I'm wasn't a huge fan of Carenado but they were the only ones to make the King Air 90 at the time.
@Jaguar79gt

FlyingTexas yes, i fly with fsx too. I will take a closer look to the carenado 😉

Totally awesome! Great video, I'm loving the King Air 90 and think it's awesome what you did for that SSG giving them a ride. Next time I fly anywhere in Texas I'd love to charter you guys. Would that be possible?
@FlyingTexas

Bret, thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! This was a great flight in particular. Unfortunately, we don't fly charters in the King Air. The PIC here does flight corporate though and I'd be happy to pass along his info if you're looking for a Citation/King Air pilot.
