because part of the entertainment value is in how bad it is and low effort jokes only make a few people laugh. I thought it was pretty funny because it was so bad but most people have a different sense of humour. It is a bit like laughing about drunk people struggling to walk. They can't do something pretty simple which is funny to only some people. This guy can't crop himself in a video properly but publishes the video anyway which is funny in a similar way because it isn't hard to do.
