Brilliant video brought back memories when I picked up my Ombrine 801 from Parker Adams Great company, very helpful. Love to go on a run with you guys if possible?
Hey , was wondering if u can do a tour on a special catamaran I do not remember the name right now but I could tell u in a week since I’m going on one. It has carbon fiber all around a jacuzzi and I’m pretty sure it costs about four and a half million pounds Would love to see a tour on one of those
Now that was a textbook docking. I was close on which boat. I’d thought you might have been keeping a secret and sold SBll so you could trade up. Another JL805 is just as good.
Excellent boat Greg very nice purchase good luck to you & Sally. Nick will show you how to use the board on water this year he might not fall off. Good luck & enjoyment to you all.
Blimey, what a great day for Greg and Sally. I bet his cheeks ached by the end of the day, he looked like the cat who got the cream! LOL (I guess he did really) P.S. I'm not at all jealous ..... (OK maybe just a little bit).
I just realized why i like those videos of yours so much. It's the absence of unnecessary music. When i see a boat going over the waves i want to actually hear the wind and the boat just humming along. This is what makes your videos just.....great. They show what's fun and don't intrude on the senses with unnecessary distractions. Love to see you two on that boat just having fun. Hope to one day be able to afford such a nice boat as well. :)
@@AQUAHOLIC Sometimes I like a little music in there too....what really pushes my buttons being 'hard of hearing' or 'hearing impaired', is when someone is talking to you, and music is playing 'underneath'. I'm still trying to understand what the point of that is.
@@RoelskiTV Seconded from Belgium too now to play this back to the wife to put a little more pressure on for my next boat @AQUAHOLIC Lovely day, lovely boat, and great characters, wish you all the best in your new adventure Greg
Nick - Talking about 'Joining the club...' , you should start a Jeanneau Leader 805 register and organise trips and events. I'm sure it would go down a storm... 🙂
Lucky Greg ,a very very tidy looking boat congratulations sir! I only had one question as I watched the journey which was I wonder if he's going to change the name and if so to what(OK technically two questions I know) But it sounds like it's staying as Dreams, either way a great find. If ever fortunately enough to own a boat one of my first big adventures would be a nice cruise to the Sillys for the World Gig Championships and a nice week pottering around the islands, hay ho maybe one day 🤗👌🖖
Oh god it’s the Pirates of Penzance. A lovely looking boat, how old? Guess Nick will be fitting it out with all the extra gizmos for you. I dream of a family size yacht but these Leader 805s are look great for fun on the water for four if staying on board, or more with dinner ashore or on board and then home. The urge is beginning to get to me. It’s your fault Nick but the Mrs does understand😂
Thanks Nick and Greg for a great ride and the spectacular view of the English Coast! 😅 P.S. I may be wrong, but it seems as if the water is cleaner and blue-er there than other areas you've been to in the U.K...
Nice one Nick, good advice to your mucker. He's absolutely chuffed and I don't blame him. Good job..........these boats do have me wondering should I trade in my fishing boat as you could easily fish from yours.
Splashday on your new boat of whatever type of boat is your thing, just can't be beaten can it, and the Sun was Shining as well. Marvelous. ❤ Bob. 👍✨️✨️✨️
Best of luck with the new boat Greg. It was a brilliant day for a first run to its new home too. AND a bonus. The steam train to send you off. Its amazing that in these days of technology, A.I. you name it, that a steam train can cause everyone to stop and look till its gone from view. Love boats, but I stop for steam trains too.
What a lovely upload and lovely boat Greg! I wish you many happy memories and years on Dreams! Thanks for bringing this to us Nick. Have great weekends one and all!
Congratulations Greg, she's gorgeous. It's great to watch these channels and dream of S72's or F45's but realistically the Leader 805 or similar is the perfect fun sized boat. 👍❤️🇬🇧
Another happy Jennau Leader owner there I feel, she's a smart looking boat with a sweet sounding engine. I'm sure with a calm sea Greg would be able to get her over thirty knots.
You scared the crap out of me when I saw you driving on the wrong side of the road!!! :) I watch your videos at 1.25x so you appeared to be really flying, too!
Nothing better than two buddies on the maiden voyage of a new boat. Hope you had a cold one off camera. Watching you drive on the wrong side of the road in the begining makes me think the cold one was before you got to the boat, lol. Great boat Greg !!! Now you can toss the women folk on one while you two grab some poles and bring some fish in.
Lucky boy Greg! (Plus hard work too I'm sure). Is there a premium for diesel 805's now Nick has revealed how great they are? They must be the most desirable boat in their class, thanks to Aquaholic.
The six cylinder sounds so much better than the 4 pot! Which is a great engine as well. But the mechanical sound of this one is impressive! Congrats with the purchase!
Perfect Friday video! I’ve smiled the entirety of this video. Also guessed correctly 😂 Brilliant to see Greg and his new boat - looks nicer the SB2 in places 😬
MAN UP LADS , THE LARGER THE BOAT , THE MORE NOISE WHEN HITTING SOME THING . NO sneaking a way in the blue one . Enjoy your boats and have a great summer .
Good call on the Jeanneau 805 its totally practical for berth space fuel economy ease of maintenance and for a couple. It ticks so many practical boxes. The boat has good weight to make it more stable - as opposed to a center console. Thats why I like my more conservative twin Cummins fuel economy and ease of use, Maintenace and easy for a couple Rivolta Ruhm Runner.
Thanks Greg, for allowing us to hitch a ride on your first trip. It's good to see you enjoying it so much. I will refrain from making any 'Essex' comments.😊
just saw Greg`s ask the owner and he said then he would be up grading to something like yours and he did, great timing with the weather to get a new boat. well done Greg and Sally
Lovely to see the new boat day excitement and a successful first run. I recently upgraded to a beautiful Fairline Targa 33 and was so excited I couldnt sleep the night before delivery 😊
Oh Greg we're so happy for you mate! We've always enjoyed watching you and Sally on the channel and can't wait to see what you guys get up to this season. Hopefully me and the wife will upgrade from our 642 in the next couple of years too.. best wishes from Poole
A massive congratulations to you Greg! Don’t even think of putting your wallet away, there are upgrades and toys yet to be installed, forthwith!…lol… the four of you have a great boating season.
Congrats Greg.. She looks lovely.. Hope you have many days on the water just enjoying life. I`m sure Nick will be on hand to help you with the lines and any Gin that might be on offer too.
Excellent episode Nick. I could really feel Greg's excitement. He was beaming from ear to ear. Perfect start to ownership, great launch site, fantastic weather and trouble free delivery. Team Jeanneau!
We won't be so indelicate as to ask if they're wet,or happy Dreams.Your accents made it Impossible for know what the ship was.Thankfully the Hull spoke proper English to us all. What a beauty it is.Congratulations Greg !!Try to dodge that silly man who'll be chasing you about at times.Legend has it,that he likes to scam a meal and a drink at times, while asking about your ship.
Excellent, Greg's smile says it all - AND he will be able to get rid of the 'bucket of shame'! I'm realistically still a year or two away from my first boat but that doesn't stop me looking around, and having looked at quite a few around this size (probably for a second boat rather than the starter boat), I usually come back to this model as it competently does everything you need with decent space and facilities for a price that you don't need to be a millionaire to run. All the best from Scotland!
Wow, what an emotional video you could tell Greg was over the moon with his new purchase and hiw much he adores you Nick as a friend and the help and advice you have given him thoughout the purchase, bringing her nack home into berth really hit home with Greg, i just loved this video, happy sailing Greg im sure you and Sally with have great times aboard Dreams
Congratulations Greg! She's a beauty. Looking forward to seeing the wonderful adventures that are no doubt just over the horizon. Nothing like good friends enjoying a few of the finer things in life. Nick, well done. I really want to see some of the great times you have out on the water.
