Debut of the Barn find 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. This car had been sitting in this barn since 1992, 26 YEARS!! Watch as it's pulled from the barn, loaded up, cleaned out, washed out, and then placed in her new home! More videos to come as the resurrection continues!

I'd like to ask what may seem a stupid question: How does one go about locating all these "barn find" vehicle I see on RU-vid? I'm 71 years old, no I'm not a car restorer, but would like to find a 69 Road Runner, 66-67 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 or 454, or a 654 Pontiac GTO. I had a 66 and a 68 GTO after returning home from Vietnam in 1970. Wife wrecked the 66 and then I returned to Vietnam and she wrecked the 68. Needless-to-say we didn't last very long. Don't have an endless supply of money, but a little to restore a muscle car over time. Appreciate your helpful reply.

Cool video, i'll be fallowing you. My Mother had a yellow '69 roadrunner when i was a kid.. 383 4/ speed, thing was pretty bad ass. If i might make a suggestion, I watch a few channels of guys bringing cars back, take more time looking the car over and show what's right and wrong with it. Simply saying the the rear end behind the rear tires is the worst part of the car, show us what ya mean. Show video of the frame rails, quarters, trunk pan etc.. Guys usually fly through that part of the video because they think it might be boring video, but it's actually why i watch them. I think that what makes Grave Yard cars so interesting, love him or hate him, Mark takes the time to show what he's talking about on his builds. I know its a time thing with RU-vid, but hey, that just means more videos for you and us. Just my two cents, thanks man, and i wish you all the best..
@k3vbotsgarage786
@k3vbotsgarage786 5 лет назад
Definitely. There are a few good walk arounds in this video that show the rot behind the rear wheels. I plan on doing the body work with a buddy, so all the holes will be shown in better depth when that happens!

@@k3vbotsgarage786 LOL. Mine calls it Hoarding!!!! Lmao When I say I own about 30 vehicles total, that's a modest answer. I just don't have the heart to sell any off. My list starts with a 1968 Camaro, and ends with a 2007 International semi. There is a handful of goodies in between the 2. Our condition is something only us car guys can appreciate & understand.. Anyway, Can't wait to see the Road Runner when its done. Man, I was waiting for something to jump out of the car when you had just picked it up. Man those rodents did a number on your interior. Whew. Oh by the way, I had a 69 Super bee in HS the same factory colors your road runner was. I'd still own that car, but back then, my old man was so pissed off at all the posi tracks marks I left on his freshly asphalted drive way.
