On this episode of FTP Speed Shop we buy a 1978 Puch Maxi Moped. We run into some issues with the carb needle and set and need to give the NOVA Shack a call to score a new needle for the carb. After that it’s just some polishing and some basics, like tightening the chain and she was ready to rip!!

graduated from high school in this year ''1978'' got one of these as a graduation present ... loved it so much.. it was silver with black trim and the seat was longer .. what great memories it purred like it was a much larger bike .. loved it.

I am well aware of this gem. I will be working on it again once the weather warms up. I will do my best to retain the stock look, while improving the power and cruise-ability. I just need a new taillight, and handle bar controls.

Thanks for watching. Just got to keep your eyes peeled I found two of them for 80 bucks each and they both been pretty good mopeds. Deals like that only come around about every 10 years for me.
