That’s about what I’m thinking! BDS has a 4in with new leaf springs front and rear and I could do fox shocks with that and 35 Ridge Grapplers. Very tempting
Try cleaning the points on the 300 six. One of my boats got really corroded points after sitting for 1 winter. Rebuild and use the 352. Parts are still available and a lot cheaper than a diesel. I rebuilt a stock FE using 352, 360 and 390 parts in my 76 F250 hiboy. That truck was a beast. Diesel has been and will be more expensive. Hope your mom is doing better.
I will try that, hopefully that’s all it needs to fire up. I’m definitely tempted to use the 352 for the cost and cool factor, but I’m afraid it won’t have the power to do the towing and work that I’d like to do with the long bed. What are your thoughts on that? I’ll have a diesel in the other truck so I guess I could always use it for heavy loads and have the gas one more for fun.
@@GRAPPAHOLICS 9 to 1 comp 390 about 275 hp 400 ft/lbs. 12 valve cummins about 215 hp 400 ft/lbs. Different torque curves. Or you could go 460. 10.5 to 1 comp 460 engines built before 1972 is 365 horsepower at 4,600 rpm and 485 pound-feet of torque at 2,800 rpm. A decent budget 460 build might make good content. Lots of old Ford 460 motorhomes w/low miles out there cheap.

That will be awesome! I’m really tempted to keep the longbed powered by a Ford gas motor but it’s such a big truck that I go back and forth with the 12v Cummins option

Hey I have some 38x15.50r20 nitto mud grapps I put on a 2021 f250 and ran them 1k miles and decide to sell the truck and get a dually I’m wanting to sell them for 2500 and I’m looking for a set of 37x13.50r17 didn’t know if you k ew somebody wanting a set of 38s or if you knew where I could find a deal on some 37s
