Our 520H has been sitting around collecting dust (and leaves and who knows what else!), and we finally took the time to get it back up and running to be able to use it to work up our garden. Of course the 520H had a dead battery and bad gas in the tank from sitting for a few years. But we managed to get it back up and running with what we would call minimal effort. We also added an extra fuel filter in the fuel line before the fuel pump. Never understood why the equipment manufacturers didn't put an in line filter on equipment that used these Onan engines. You will find the fuel filter in the same location on John Deere tractors equipped with an Onan opposed twin engine. At the best some had a screen in the tank, but that would still allow a good bit of dirt to pass through and into the fuel pump before finally being filtered.
