Laurel and hardy , abbot and Costello , Wallace and grommet have nothing on the funky farmer and farmer P . What a duo !!! Brilliant work and great video.
TAFE still makes this tractor in India. 3 cylinder but with updated electrics and injector. Apparently, TAFE are the third largest tractor manufacturers in the world.
Really happy to see you an the fergi reunited after all these years rich now soak all the memories in and nice of Ian to see give up his time to help share your journey
Congratulations Richard it must bring back happy memories and I hope you make many more happy memories with your family nice farmer p for helping 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
With what he David said about it using a bit of oil I would put a bit of cardboard underneath it between the engine and gearbox I expect the rear main seal is leaking it's not a hard job to fix if it is and I'd come up from mid devon to help you do it
Hi Peter. I'd be interested in changing this seal and if your offer to help is still on I'd be happy to discuss it with you. Can you email me? thefunkyfarmer@hotmail.co.uk
Hi Richard. This is how I found my Ferguson Tef 20. It stayed local for years and now is back with me less than half a mile from it's first home. A paper trail not Internet rubbish.
You and Farmer P. are so fun to listen to! There's nothing better than having a close friend nearby to do things like this with and help each other out. I teared up just about the same time as you, I'm just so happy you were able to find your tractor to bring home, and also that it went to such a good home as it did with David and his wife! Harry's going to be ecstatic too! Makes me think of my grandfather and his farm, and how much I wish I could run it/restore it, but i know that I don't have the experience or the expertise to really run it as it should.
Good to get the old family 35 back be good to put it on your new topper and give it a bit of work under load. Going to dig out an old photo of me at 18 months old on a 35 back in the 60s , that's when I caught the bug.
Fantastic to see you got her back ok . It's going to be so emotional when you go back up your drive back to the farm. Big shout out to farmer p for helping you get the old back 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great to see you got your old Ferguson back Richard. I used to have a 35x some years ago that I bought from a farm sale to use on my allotment, great little tractor, made life so much easier.
This is absolutely amazing and beautiful brings back memories for me when I did the exact same thing with a old Land Rover I bought back last year can’t wait to see part 2 and see it back at home
Your video was very enjoyable, I did the same as you picking up a MF165 with my brother. I have a Land Rover Defender 130 200TDI with a tipper body and a Brenderup 3way tipping trailer with ramps. Every part of your video was more or less identical to what my brother and I did. It's really nice too see such nice people as yourselves along with the nice couple you bought your tractor off. Being Scottish I like nothing more than driving through the English countryside. Keep the great videos coming.
As soon as i saw the thumbnail the words NICE ONE came out of my mouth.. great stuff Richard, it's like you've found an old friend❤ you deserve the happiness😊❤ and to be honest i'm a little bit jealous because i miss driving the 35x we had when we worked the farm😂😂😂 it'd be worth powder coating the roll frame.. best of luck with it and to all who sail on it😂😂😂😂🤪 regards P.
Really happy for you Richard such a fantastic reunion of your younger pass, just brings back lovely memories of myself when I was a teenager on our old 35.
Nice to see you so happy Richard; beats moaning about the weather and great to achieve an ambition. Will tune in tomorrow for more Funkiness 😹 I'm sure the bucket will be full.
Hi, my name is Daryl Beebe. I live on the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec, Canada. Congratulations on finding your father’s 35 Massey. Have fun picking her up and I can’t wait til you get her home. I love the sound of the Perkins, 3 cylinder diesel. My Dad and I had a 1975, 135 Massey.
I used to be a coach driver. The Americans used to want to visit loads of places in a short amount of time so they could tick boxes, and tell their friends and family where they have been. The plus side of motorways is it keeps tourists off our lanes, they are busy enough as it is 😂
like you said people hang on to these I grew up using my neighbors massey65 he always said he'ld give it to me when he retired well he did retire but kept it anyway its got a huge paulson loader bucket & exhaust comes out the back
What ever you paid for it is between you and the previous owner and the gatepost Richard no body else's beeswax, there's been to much of peoples personal stuff put out by others recently. That's right to fly the county flag something we should all do with our county flag's respectively which is part of our heritage.😍
