Spring has arrived and we are putting the sheep on some of the longer grass for a treat. Soon they’ll be shorn and without their coats we’ll be able to see what condition they are in. I think they are doing very well despite the wet winter, but we’ll soon get a good look at both their weight and the quality of their fleeces. After moving them I walked slowly back along the hedge line watching out for any little critters which might appear. A very busy bee was visiting the blossoms very efficiently and two cream coloured ladybirds were nestling in pink flowers. We finish up with a chat with Remy one of our roosters.
