As part of my journey to get back to flying helicopters, Ewan is also wanting to learn to fly them. He has got his hands on this now 'Retro' or vintage Raptor 30 v2 that we will be checking over and making airworthy again, and this will give him a very stable heli to learn on

Mt first and last nitro helicopter! I used to make custom LED canopies for these, and back then people used to say, "LEDs on RC stuff will never catch on" haha.

I like the comment "theres a 90 coming" that's what I said when we found out we were having our first child I got it whilst i could afford it bargin at £300 used. Once ur hooked you just want bigger! Hopefully I will teach him to fly it after he can man the 30. I'm self taught started with a cheap rtf on which u spent more time controlling the slop in the linkages than anything else, not a good introduction to helis really! The 30 or 50 nice big and stable and easier to see.

Thank you for your comments, an I am sorry for your loss. I am lucky to still have my dad around and as you say cherish the memories that we have made over the years. I feel very fretful that I can share my hobby with ewan and he is just as passionate about flying as I am
