I love these these game dev diary videos. Valorant devs delve into their thought processes, complications and ideas. You can feel they want the people to enjoy their game as much as they enjoy creating it. Game development is hard, and super risky, but the way the team does these videos feels genuinely good to hear that they wanna make the game more accessible for the players.

This is why the replay system was taking a long time to make!!!!

I was not into the games yet but one day one of my friend install valorant in my i3 1220p laptop and say just play for 2 days and honestly after 2 days I started loving valorant a lot and that amazing .. Thank you valorant team to make it this way that it can run in any hardware

Does the console version not have kernel-level anticheat? If it doesn't, can you bring Val to Linux, too? You're already sacrificing it for a console port.

I hope gyro and flick stick are added as well on controllers that support them another way to aim precisely and make fast 90 and 180 degree turns would be great

I switched to pc but I played console for years, I would've loved having valorant on console back then and was hoping it would come eventually years ago. this is gonna be huge for console players and people are gonna make so many memories and have so much fun with this. great move for them and new community for valorant. I'm even gonna try it out cause rank will be reset and it will be fun trying with my friend on xbox and ill be horrible at aiming but play smart, excited to try abyss too it looks so fun 🦔❄

It would be amazing if valorant was able to add optional cross-play to console like you can toggle it on and off in settings and it would be nice to see valorant adding a system like when you plug in your keyboard and mouse to console to play competitive then it would automatically switch to cross-play mode. The only reason I'm probably switching from PC to console is my performance as I'm getting 40-50 fps but I'm still plat 3. To add on, will there be a pro scene for console like masters?

A nice feature would be better if focus mode was a light press of L2 then full press of L2 for Ads

I am so so glad that valorant devs are hearing and taking opinions of the community into consideration, this will not only let the game live for like a longer period but more people will join the community making the game more fun. I am pretty sure they have already taken our other opinions like custom game modes and all, and who knows they might even have started working on it W VALORANT

Will we at least be able to hook up a controller to our pc or laptop to play? not everyone has consoles to play valorant with but they have pcs. and some of those people work better on controller. My mom for example. she watches me play and wants to get into it. she doesn't do well with keyboard and mouse but does really well with controllers. and I have a USB controller for her to use. the only problem is that controllers aren't compatible on valorant and we don't have a console. I was also wondering if there was going to be a setting for cross play. like for console players. because i have a few friends who want to play but only have consoles and when it comes out we'd like to play together. so like maybe in setting it says "PC to console cross play--- ON---OFF. off by default of course for most players but just so PC and console can play together.

Does it have motion control? Because that might allow it to be even more accurate and better feeling. I’ve played a few shooters where that can really change the fun of it.

will there be no crossplay at all? i think having the option to chose between crossplay or no for a couple game modes (like unrated) would be nice if you want to play with console only friends

I think that for console they should do what r6 is doing which is “rat trap” which detects if they are using a xim and if they are it places them in lobby’s with pc players

I think cross platform would be good eventually, just not for competitive. Players/party leader would get the option to toggle cross platform matchmaking in a menu like the server location one. This would also help queue times in less popular gamemodes outside of peek times if it were an option

I do want a replay system as everyone else but what I would like the most is that in the future you guys release Linux Support.

Give us the option to cross-play in casual Not sure Ranked would make sense. Toggle aim assist off an be allowed? It'd be a disadvantage, but at least you'd have the option then

I am wondering if this is a seperate game entirely cause 1 there was footage of skye tracking a bot in a test map that was unfinished but maybe that was just more convienent? or if the game is actually made from the ground up because at 4:42 there are new agents with ? and console under them so will the game be getting exclusive agents and balance??? I wonder if this is also why they dont want to make the game crossplay at all. like i know it be rough for controller to fight MnK even in unrated but maybe in customs for some fun, but if its a diff game it prob be easier not to do all that at all for a small feature
