i am a son of a Policeman, old school gentleman he was, a loving man to all and very fair, i met lots of rouges who hated the Police but remembered my Dad and liked him a lot. I was raised with morals and principles, but now nearly fifty i'm not sure who are the criminals anymore in society, quite sad really. Very sad.
It's a load of old cobblers, some chick in the flying squad in the 1980s who never was playing a central role because of people's feelings in 2023? A made up character in a show allegedly about facts, not for me.
I vaguely remembered it, but not at the time, as 1983 was a very hard time for me, the Robbery came to to me sometime later, never knew much about it until watching this fine documentary.
And yet if your £50 overdrawn, or you want a bank loan, it's a big deal to any bank, procedures and much questions, to go through. What a joke, Barclays were never questioned?.. that's absurd
The gold belonged to a bank called Johnson Matthey Bankers Limited who themselves were involved and investigated for financial criminal activities, villains stealing from villains.
This is VERY revealing. It wasn't too long before Noye was arrested for a road rage murder (not to mention being a cop killer though they were on his property without permission).
1. who the fuck is giving thumbs up to such a dickhead comment? 2. "It wasn't too long" ... it was 13 fucking years later when Noye was arrested for the road rage attack. 3. Let's go back to pre-internet days. At least then, even though there were as many dickheads about, we just didn't know it!
The establishment have never had any trouble moving their billions around the world, untraceable, lovely, try taking a couple grand out the country and the customs will have you, but a couple of billion has it's own pipeline, this will never change.
6:50 Kenneth Noyes wife on her husband, "he's not a gangster". No he's worse....he's a killer who murdered a policeman and 21 year old Stephen Cameron at Swanley.
Some people think stealing the gold was legendary but please remember the victims the security guards and investors. Then later all the innocent people scammed in time share deals in Spain so many victims
Noye aka 'the M25 murderer' was found to have a crucible in his house and smelting facilities. He also killed one of the police officers who were hiding in the bushes, casing his house. They say that Canary Wharf was developed almost entirely from Brinks Mat gold.
It was a bit too early for Canary Wharf. Much of the other, earlier docklands developments were said to have links to Brinks Mat, but Canary Wharf came along layer.
interesting that these have links to hatton garden hiest reader got caught and what seems entire differnt situation palmer was murdered wonder iff he grassed
The gold scam at the end mentioned, friend of mine used to do that a couple times a week. In those days it was about 8k a kilo. They act like the criminals abused these tax havens for laundering. Why do you think they are very carefully and thoughtfully set up that way? For exactly this purpose.
That’s exactly the chutzpah he’s trying to project tho isn’t it - half hack, half gum shoe. Leather jacket with a cigarette on the go. What did you expect, Oxbridge deportment? 🤣
Curiosity2814 At 4:24 they show wrong kind of gold bars. Those bars weight about 20-30 kg. 6800 of those would be about 150 tons. I believe there is no lorry that could take such a load. Just thought so.
yep, if you're a police officer and you decide to ignore the law and become a criminal yourself, decide to not get a warrant and then dress up as an S.A.S operative sneak into someones private property then try to kill their dog when you make noise and alert it, then attack the home owner when he comes out to defend his dog, yeah you're gonna get stabbed and yeah the home owner is going to get away with it, you know why, because police officers shouldn't be dressing up as S.A.S and sneaking around in the bushes in peoples gardens at night time in the dark without a warrant and attacking their dogs because you made them bark with your law breaking.
Mmmmm , yeah , was the young man he stabbed to death , dressed up and sneaking around at night ? Or was he on a public road ? And does everybody's default setting when faced with even minor confrontation , inc reaching for a knife 🗡️. Poor old innocent Kenny , so hard done by . I mean , what are the chances of stabbing i death one person. In your lifetime , let alone two .
what a effing joke, towards the end... the copper saying "it appals me, the drugs ruin our society" < yeah.. except your all in it together you dirty ..... lol
@wheeliehigh Apparently they didn't know the gold was there. They thought they were going to find £1-2 million in foreign currency but one of the guards couldn't remember the vault code. That's when they found the boxes full of gold bars. They had to buy a smelter to melt the gold after they stole it. If they known about the gold they would have already have sorted one out.
If they'd just shared the bars out and cashed them a bit at a time they could of still been spending it, its because they got greedy and wanted the cash straight away, they could of made jewllery out of it and got scrap value from anywhere n everywhere
Organised high level crime couldn't function without the help of crooked banks, accountants solicitors politicians and police but you never hear of a new of them getting the same sort of sentence
The best thing to have happened would have been to pay the robbers off in property or assets and not touch the gold for at least 10 years. Smelt and reintroduce the odd kilo here and there. Brinks Mat was cursed. A bullion theft is an attack on the world's elite.
Exactly what I thought. If someone says ‘can you melt down a shitload of gold’ you really have to wonder. Plus the robbery wasn’t exactly kept quiet in the media.
I am pretty sure that the police officer after the first stab would have told the prick he was a policeman, but he continued to kill him, like he did to the boy on the motorway, murdering piece of shit. Two murders but way more lives ruined.
Wholly agree. As a life long criminal it wasnt unusual for Noye to have to see off rival criminals The undercover police who trespassed into Noyes grounds were acting outside of the law and sadly paid the price. It was a text book self defence but you still have to respect Ed Fitzgerald for brilliant advocacy, perfect legal appraisal and top class presentation. People weren't inclined to disbelieve the police then .. We hadn't found out how corrupt and untrustworthy they were yet ..To persuade a jury to acquit him remains one of the great legal performances in Old Bailey history
@@RaphaelDawkinsCombatRadio It was pitch black. Middle of the night. In the grounds of a well known violent criminal with enemies everywhere .. In the criminal world its not unusual for rivals and competitors to assault even kill opposition.. He had absolutely every right to kill that man and the fault and culpability lies with the corrupt Met who sacrificed John Fordham.. It is they and the senior officers (we still in 2022 dont know who authorised this illegal invasion of Noyes home) who have blood on their hands
this worth watching?? huge gold stacker here, anything that has to do with GOLD, I LOVE TO WATCH IT.. but i noticed this is old.. is it worth the time??.
When you have a criminal culture, and subculture, in any country you have these kinds of habits going on: everyone including Barkleys' Bank employees look the other way. The only reason Brit cops were onto the principals so fast is that they were very aware of just who the career criminals were in town. Interesting why so many Brits want to emigrate to Canada and get away from their home country.
A) it's Barclays, not barkleys. B) the number of British people emigrating to Canada is pretty miniscule. It's also definitely not the first country of choice for British immigrants. If people do emigrate from the UK, places like Spain, France and Australia are much more popular than Canada.
