That game in my Sherman was pretty fun as I like to play my DDs a bit supportive, especially when I know I got good teammates who know to take advantage of my support. You could probably use a couple of those 1700 flood flags you have with a torpedoe cruiser :) Nice game & cudos for acknowledging the Sherman's help. After seing PQ's video and now yours I'm pretty sure I'll get it for coal. Should be fun a in a division as you demonstrated :)
I love the world we live in where mid to high 90's AA rating is "descent and ok". Remember pre-rework when you could use AA builds and ships with 90's ratings could smash planes? Of course, back then you could also get cross dropped by 2 torp squadrons simultaneously while a dive bomber squadron loitered outside AA range waiting for your dcp to cool down.
Love your vids. It does look pretty strong even without smoke screen support from the Sherman. With the amount of Malta in the game right now, however, playing in a div with another ship with smoke is probably a safer option in general.
Cool upload brother, I have too get this off my chest War Gaming are pissing me off so much I’m thinking of uninstalling the he game, I spent a lot on this game and the greed they get just makes me get a bad taste in my mouth what with the battle pass now each month and now every time they release a new coal ship the first month they only make it available for cash in bundles, well they ain’t getting my money sad I love this game but WG are really making me think too quit after so many years.
This thing looks seriously OP. Like an oversized destroyer. I guess it would be vulnerable to airstrikes. But in a game with no CVs this things just shreds.
I think it would be very cool if it had an option between this radar and the crawling smoke from the vampire. Maybe OP though. My first game I had a smolensk and khaba next to me. We dominated as a makeshift div. Good fun.
What i noticed so far is that you got to choose between Brisbane and Matilda if you dont want to gamble (~90% of the gamble containers are trash btw). Correct me if im wrong. For the missions you get 110 tokens each chapter. That makes 550. I also recieved 15 tokens, dunno where i got them from. Then im at 565 after all missions. So i only need to get the first 30 tokens for 12k coal to get Brisbane before the coupon runs out after the 17th. With coupon she is at 595 tokens. All other tokens for resources would only give me 270 tokens. And thats the point where they want to lure you into gambling, to also get either Matilda or Brisbane, depending on what you got first. So dont waste your resources further if you already got one of them. Since i really want to get Napoli, i decided to go with Brisbane and pass out on Matilda. Yeah she looks nice but she doesnt offer any unique skills. If you really want her then do the missions and get her. Brisbane will be available for coal later on.
I really do not like the fact that so many ships on tier X and XI have so many torps.. Imagine how many torps would be underwater in game with CV's , Subs , DD's [ especially Shimakaze , or Yamagiri , or Yueyang ... ] additionally now we will have Brisbane and do not forget about Jinan... We can easily count + 130 torpedos lounched on one side of the map.. Ridiculus..
Big fan as usual. I just wanted to ask how do you think this ship compares to the Wooster? Similar guns, consumables and hull but this just seems a bit stronger in my uninformed opinion.
compare with worcester, brisbane has lower gunpower, longer range but shorter time radar, has torps, and better maneuverability, and better heal. But worcester has one is really important thing compare to brisbane, worcester can immune Malta AP bomber from cit but brisbane can't
@@pandatanoao9384 I think torps and heal makes it so much better than wooster. You can heal a lot and torps come handy if something is trying to rush you. I donť have this ship yet but I think it will be better than wooster.
The fact it got ASW planes is simple: WeeGee knows depth charges suck and this is a ship they want to sell you for IRL cash by letting you "buypass" the campaign.
I wanted this ship to work, but it seems like it blows up too easily... just like a mino... feel like I am lacking a reason to buy it as it doesn't seem to have better HE than Nevsky or better torps than jinan... good that it has airborne ASW and 12k radar but they are not enough to buy the ship if you are not really heavily into light cruisers... lack of smoke will hold it back so div up with a dd with long lasting smoke if you decide to buy it.
AP are standard ones, not mino's Mino has 12mm arming, 0.005 fuse delay and 60-75 bounce Brisbane has 25mm arming, 0.025 delay and 45-60 Alpha is the same 3200 though

For me IFES is a must (dmg improve alot) . But man this ship have mad rudder and mobility and the 20 sec radar do not help you to kill a dd like in a Mino. So for me is just a bad Mino or Wooster dont see the point of this ship in current meta..
