@@clayton4115 really? I just did Melbourne-Sydney, Orange-Sydney, and Sydney-Brisbane (Return) and these things whilst quiet squeaked and sqwaked like you wouldn't believe.
@@clayton4115 Other than the constant squeeking they are ok, I will miss them in many ways especially as the new NSW regional fleet will be DMUs so will have diesel engines under your feet in several carriages and won't have any beds.
Did the overnight run from Brisbane to Sydney but never again, was so slow it missed the connection to Melbourne by over 1hr and was a rough uncomfortable ride; I'd rather see Streamliners, which at over 70yrs of age, look a lot better and can go just as fast. Well done to the workers who provide this service but if this is the best we can do, it's time to upgrade.
Yes I don't think its goal is for people who want to travel between the capital cities, I think it better serves it purpose for the regional towns it stops at and provides them another means of transport between towns.
