On King of the Hill, there's a character that is a total Danny Trejo stereotype named Octavio. Violent, resourceful criminal. He's played by Mike Judge. Danny Trejo plays the Mexican everyman who works at Strickland with Hank. His name is Enrique and he's just a regular guy.
Im kind of suprised i never realised this was brisk's thing with commercials: cool "california raisins quality" claymation. Kind of suprised they dont do more of these, especially with movies! HIRE ME BRISK!
@@adriannaranjo4397 that may be, but its the one animation technique that shows off Brisk. Besides, claymation was never a cheap technique; however you can black and white the claymation (other then the brisk), giving it a rebooted kind of look that is referencing their own brisk commercials from the 90s
Sadly the "masses" don't really care about the medium and how hard the people who make it work, or how unique the thing is . Companies also care first and foremost about minimizing costs and maximizing profit . They want it cheap, and want it to be profitable . Stop-motion, Claymation, 2D (even with the latest software) take time, a lot of work, the masses are what bring the profit, not those who know how the medium works, and how hard it is . Thankfully there's always projects of passion .
@@thewallachianbard6975 maybe if they utilize creative techniques more then doing the bare minimum, people would remember the brand other then some average commercials, then again, whens the last time Brisk has been on commercials? its been a while, but thats just me
@@noahboat580 That would make sense but the sad reality of marketing is that it's all about impact and being loud, and obnoxious, getting attention . The same way less people read fine literature and read more celebrity magazines .
I went to the theaters with my family to watch Machete 2 when I was a kid. I remember that day fondly because despite my mom continuously covering my and her own ears along with my eyes, everyone had fun. Gracias, Machete
@@perky8390 Usually people won't wash their hands much unless they touched a feces of sorts.Now we have a deadly virus that is very noticeable on it's effects and danger to health.Hence covid enforced the hand washing act and made people wash hands more frequently than they used to
This commercial came out in 2011.....Trejo saw the writing on the wall, he knew one day washing ones hands would be a greater defense then the sharpest knife
I’ll never forget one of the more laid back roles Danny had as Raul in Fallout New Vegas. His extreme sarcasm and sad backstory added a lot to the game.
Reminds me of the old Levi's commercial with the Shaggy soundtrack. (The one where some cool dude rides up a building on a bike to save a woman from a burning building and he escapes by pulling out his pants and use them to glide over a cable with the woman holding his middle while pigeons turn into fried chickens)
