There’s a thing called *CRITICAL HEALS*, where if the pat- i mean experiment isn’t damaged for a certain amount of time, they get healed quicker than the flash. and the scout hadn’t been damaged in like 2 mins, so basically, he got healed sooper fast

I don’t know if anyone has pointed this out yet. but when medic holds heavy’s original heart the cardiograph registers a heartbeat but when it’s destroyed by attempting to ubercharge it the cardiograph flatlines. Neat detail
I love all the subtle character details in this animation, like Medic's surprise when he breaks Heavy's rib or Soldier flinching at the "Now Serving" ding. Other ones like Heavy taking a moment to process Medic's story before laughing and looking offended when Medic says he's filthy. I love this game.

@@AfterthymeGaming I think they may be reffering to that time when the voice actors were proposed with the question of whether or not Heavy would choose Medic over Sasha in a ride-or-die situation, and since Heavy didn't knew how to answer the question, Medic insisted on him to better answer it, which then Heavy admitted that he'd choose Sasha, to which Medic replied with "you're not coming to dinner anymore" and Heavy said "it was fun while it lasted" and they kept having this "divorced with mutual feelings for eachother" dynamic on the Sandvich Saga & Meet The Crew, where Medic tends to bring up The Question from time to time while Heavy tries to make up for him (even proposing counseling and to be a throuple with Sasha)

I just love how totally undaunted the medic is. Heavy guy's heart explodes? No problem, just grab a new one. Bird in heavy guy's chest? Just shoo him away. Head in fridge is begging for death? That sounds like a problem for tomorrow medic. Super ape heart has an unnatural reaction to the health beam? That looks good. No idea if this will work? Modern medicine didn't get anywhere without some unethical experimentation and there's no better time than now to find out.

Fun fact: The medi-gun Medic uses in the ending is the Quick Fix. Canonically, it was only able to do one Übercharge before shorting and then only being able to heal exceptionally fast. This was that one Übercharge.
*Fun fact:* It’s actually a war crime to harm Medical Personnel during battle, but since Medic lost his medical licence, he’s not considered Medical Personnel and so can be harmed.

I just love little details like at 3:24 it's shown for but a second how Sniper goes from shock to relief at seeing Heavy walk past tanking every single rocket thrown at him.

I like to imagine that his ribs began to grow back faster then they should have (are ribs even supposed to grow back?) and when he was ubercharged they began to visibly grow
In the comics when mercenaries lost all their blood, medic used his own underwear to take the blood from the ground (along with all the dirt and leaves) to squeeze it straight into their bodies.
Also Medic has sold his soul to the devil in the comics But he sewed his teammates souls onto his, so now the devil only owns 1/8th of his soul and doesn't technically own it anymore
I love how Heavy shows pain when he broke a piece off his rib cage, meaning heavy is doing the surgery with no anesthesia and is still just letting Medic operate on him..
tf3 will never exist because all valve wants is money. in the beginning it was just two men and alot of creativity. they made half-life, tf2, l4d, l4d2, hl2, all the good stuff. now they're just money hungry.
I love how the ending with Scout implies that whatever Medic did to their hearts is extraordinarily painful, but Heavy is just such a unit of a man that he simple wasn't phased at all
Like, before that point it was just a funny story about an absurd over-exaggerated doctor who stole people's skeletons but when Medic said "that's how I lost my medical license" shit just became real as Heavy understood that the story wasn't just a funny joke you tell at the pub.
Scout: "MOVE CYCLOPS MOVE, Come on come on come on!" [Demoman wheels his wheelchair and Scout runs, as Scout trips and falls to the ground.] Scout: "WOAH, WHAT THE FU-" [gets hit by four missiles, landing him on the medic's glass wall. One of Medic's doves looks at Scout.] "Medic.." ["Meet the Medic" text appears] Heavy: "[Laughing loudly]" Medic:"When the patient Woke up, his skeleton is missing, and the Doctor was never heard from again!" [Medic laughs alone. Half a second later, Heavy laughs with him as he slaps his hand on a tray knocking away the tools on it.] Medic: "Anyway, that's how I lost my medical license [he chuckles, and a dove bursts out of heavy's chest.] Archimedes, no! It's filthy in there!" [He wipes his hand on his vest and looks at Heavy for a second, who looks a tad offended,] "Ugh, birds." [He chuckles and grabs the heart implant.] Medic: "Now, no heart can withstand this voltage, but I'm very certain your heart-" [Heavy's heart explodes, and remains knock one of Medic's doves off their perch.] Heavy: "What was noise?" Medic: "The sound of progress my friend." [Medic goes to his fridge.] Medic: "Ja, Perfect!" [Medic takes a "mega baboon heart" revealing a BLU Spy's head being connected to a electrical battery.] Blue Spy: "Kill Me." Medic, quietly: "Later." [Closes fridge.] Medic: "Where was I?, There we go..." [Sticks heart onto a voltage meter. Places it to where the Medigun is pointing and the heart beats faster.] [The violin/string instrument in background gets faster in sync with the heart.] Medic: "[Begins laughing evilly."] Heavy: "Ha... ha... ha..." [Looks worried.] Medic: "[Continues laughing evilly.]" [A flash of light explodes revealing the screen.] [The big heart is Übercharged, as it glows red with red-orange glows that look like silhouette cracks flowing.] Medic: "Oh, that looks good. There!" [Drops heart into Heavy's chest cavity.] Heavy: "Should I be awake for this?" Medic: "Heh, well, no. But, as long as you are could you open your ribcage for me? I can't seem to-" [As Medic and Heavy hold open Heavy's ribcage, they hear a loud crack and Heavy screams and reveals a rib in his hand.] Heavy: "[Yells.]" Medic: "Aw, don't be such a baby, ribs grow back." [Medic takes the rib and throws it away. Turns around and talks to Archimedes.] Medic, whispering: "No they don't." [Medic takes the mounted Medigun and brings it closer to Heavy. His organs and such all regenerate including his shirt and vest. Heavy smiles. There is a faint red glow in Heavy's chest, but it fades quickly.] Heavy: [Takes a deep breath.] "What happens now?" Medic: "Now?" [Chuckles while lifting Heavy up by the hands.] "Let's go practice medicine." [As Medic dresses up and equips his tools, a drum plays in the background. He comes out of a door with shining light behind him and his doves flying out.] [As Medic comes out, Heavy runs forward and Demoman rushes towards Medic in a wheelchair and wrapped in bandages. Other members of RED are either hiding or hurt badly. Scout is on the ground, trying to stand, while Engineer and Sniper are hiding behind a rock. A wave of BLU Soldiers rushes toward them in the background.] Demoman: "MEDIC!" [Demoman gets hit with a rocket sending him flying and landing near Medic. Medic pushes his glasses up and flips a switch on the Medigun, then aims it at Demoman healing him. Demoman gets up whilst removing his cast and bandages. He then quickly nods at Medic and heads back towards battle. Medic spots Scout on the ground and goes to heal him as well. Scout gets off the ground, healing his (most likely broken) nose, his black eye, and he regrows his tooth.] Scout: "Oh, yeah!" [Scout springs back up grabbing his baseball bat and runs. He hits a soldier with it around a corner.] Scout: "Woohoohoo! Oh, yeah!" [Heavy is hiding behind a rock with and an army of Soldier's wearing different cosmetics advancing towards him.] Heavy, yelling: "Doctor! Are you sure this will work?" Medic, yelling back: "Heheh, I have no idea!" [Medic flips a few switches on his Medigun revealing a voltmeter that goes to Übercharge. He aims it at Heavy while he gets out of cover.] Heavy: "[Yell's loudly.]" [Heavy turns red with a glassy/shiny texture while the camera shows his heart pumping fast and is redder than usual.] [Heavy walks towards the army shooting his minigun. A couple of rockets hit him and covers the screen in smoke.] [Out of the smoke appears two glowing yellow eyes and fully reveals Heavy in his Übercharged state while walking forward.] Heavy, loudly: "[Laughs,] I am bullet-proof!" [Heavy and Medic walk forwards while it shows Sniper and Engineer hiding behind a rock showing surprise to Heavy's invincibility. Medic and Heavy both advance while Heavy mows down the enemies while absorbing their rockets.] [It then shows the feet of the soldiers when they run towards Heavy and Medic with many falling.] [Heavy and Medic climb a mound of corpses, Heavy specifically stepping on a Soldier wearing the cosmetic 'Armored Authority.] [The music crescendos as they climb up and it keeps its pitch when they reach the top. At the top Medic is posing in front of a glowing light while Heavy is slightly below him and to the right of the screen mowing down more enemies. Medic removes his beam from Heavy, but he is still Übercharged.] [Team Fortress 2 ending flourish music plays.] [Cut to most of the team sitting outside of Medic's Lab, waiting for the Übercharge implant. Engineer is playing his guitar quietly, Spy is checking the time, Soldier is standing at attention, Pyro is reading something while flicking their lighter, Demoman is drinking and Sniper is sleeping.] [Medic is muttering something outside the room.] Scout, still in the Lab: "Hey, thanks Doc." [The ticket counter outside the Lab goes from One to Two as Scout pushes open the door, his chest glowing red with the new Übercharge implant. Medic is seen in the room cleaning the chair.] Scout: Ohohoh, man! You would not believe-" [He pauses briefly,] "-how much this hurts." [Something inside Scout's chest coos like a dove. Scout looks down at his chest in confusion.]
