Wowwww. This is so beautiful and amazing. Mine just had 26 babies but I didn't get to see them hatch. Just suddenly they were all over the tank this evening and I can't stop starring at them they are so precious!!

Omg!! I thought it was a cats cluster till they doing flips coming off the cluster and sticking to the glass. 😲😂

Great video! I am on my 2nd batch of lemon bristlenose fry, and today I found a cluster of transparent shells just like the ones at the end of the video, guess there are some babies hanging out in one of the caves nearby :D 3rd batch incoming!

Hello! I recently have had my bristlenose pair produce some fertilized eggs. I have them in a separate small breeder tank. I have some questions! 1: Do you guys know how long till they hatch? 2: How and if you fan them? 3: How you feed the newborn? 4: How long you wait to reintroduce the babies back to the normal tank

Help!!!!! My pleco's laid eggs in one of my tank ornaments about 4 days ago and it's hell on trying to keep the other community fish at bay. The parents seem to be protecting the ornament well enough though. I've seen things about fry nets and other things to breed them in but this was completely unplanned so I have nothing really to keep them safe in. I've tried to corden off the section of the tank the best I can but when they do hatch, what on earth do i feed them? I have algae wafers, algae pellets, bloodworm pellets, frozen bloodworm and brine shrimp to feed the adults but I've never had fish fry before. Any advice would be massively helpful as I don't have time to order any apparatus/food off the internet and with the lockdown there are no pet shops open. Thanks in advance.

If they are bristlenose plecos, they are pretty hardy. You can start feeding them small bits of french cut green beans after they have absorbed their yolk sacs. The only threat to the fry will be whether larger fish can eat them or they end up in the filter

@@FoisyAquatics Hi, yes they're bristlenosed plecos. If i can't get hold of green beans will they eat other green vegetables like the adults do (Cucumber, courgettes etc?) Thanks for the advice :)

@@billyrattlesticks6949 yes that should be fine! Isolating the fry in floating breeder boxes for the first few weeks helps too

I had a breeding pair that just wouldn't stop. The male got very aggressive and attacked my Golden Weather Loach, who probably stuck his head in their cave looking for a snack. Unfortunately the male did so much damage to the loach that I couldn't save it. I took male and female adult to the a pet shop the next day as the male was becoming more aggressive. I kept two albino babies, six months later and now I'm back to loads of eggs again. Hopefully the male won't be so aggressive with my other fish. If conditions in your tank are right, they will just keep breeding.

Way to cool. I do have a question. Do pleco eggs stay clumped in a tumbler? Unlike cichlid eggs. It would make sense. They are generally found in swift moving water. Just curios. Thanks
