It's such a great song musically but the lyrics bug me. "The quiet life helped your dedication to dreams that you loved more than you loved me." "Girl, you better act your age" If someone told you that you should stay in your mediocre relationship despite how it hinders your dreams, you would rightly tell them to shove it.
I wish he'd go on tour on the east coast, he is one of mine and my daughters favorite artist. I'd love to take her to see him live. Music is our love language and one of our favorite ways to bond. ❤
