Britain’s Got Talent Sydnie Christmas scandal? 

She deserves all the credits! She is amazing! Stop the politics!

She is not a pro. She has tried hard to get onto the West End and has not managed it "yet". She has worked on cruise ships and did a show in Germany. Do not believe the UK Press!!! Last year on BGT we had the original singer of one of the worlds biggest songs from "The Greatest Showman" *yes, the movie... and the actual singer). On AGT (America's Got Talent) they have had the winner of "The Voice - Ukraine" on, had the guy from the Police Academy movies doing his vocal sound effects, etc. On the Voice UK we have had the singer who did the theme for England in the Commonwealth Games 2014 (Jerusalem (Englands National Anthem)). It is highly unfair of the UK press to single out Sydnie who just wants a break and wants to be on the West End. Good luck to Sydnie and I would vote for her a million times (not because she is amazing and extremely talented) but to silence our left wing and whinging press.

Sydnie is a fantastic performer. Any criticism is totally unfair. There are scores of contestants with years of training and performance experience before making their way to Got Talent. Here are but a few examples. Ventriloquist Terry Fator, before winning AGT2, was an opening act for Garth Brooks and Reba McIntire. Olate Dogs, a fan favorite and winner of AGT7, performed in circuses and TV shows worldwide before their stint on AGT. Shin Lim, the winner of AGT13 and AGT: Champions, competed in many worldwide magic shows and fooled Penn and Teller on their show before appearing on AGT. So I would urge anyone critiquing her to stop.

Bring in Sydnie Christmas anytime!!!! From across the pond in the United States, here. Sydnie deserves everything that BGT can bring her. She is a real talent and should be not known only as a singer in the west end, but she should be known as your nation's SUPERSTAR, instead!!! She has the chops!!!! She deserves to be well-known. Just watched her sing Frank Sinatra's, ''My Way'' and she destroyed the audience and did Britain proud. What a beautiful, funny, talented individual. I can't believe she has gotten more fame than what she now holds. She is a STAR!!!

How DARE they bring in Talent to a talent show???

Sydnie was absolute perfection! Best of all, and what came out in her brilliant performance, was how grounded and REAL she is. Watching how her family reacted and how she reacted with her family...she is a gift of soul, a superb example of what is best in a human with a balance of humor and hard earned talent. May God continue to bless her as she has blessed those who have felt the warmth and difference she has brought into so many lives now...and will continue to do so as her time has come.

She's obviously not yet achieved a significant level of success as a singer. Otherwise, everyone would have recognised her.

It was probably a competitor who made a stink because they don’t want the competition.

Britain's Got Talent. Sydnie's got talent. Sydnie lives in London. So ... what's the problem? Too much truth in advertising? 🙄

A pro earns a living. If she is working at a gym, I wouldn’t call that a professional. Now, there were times in the past when there were allegations that Got Talent was intentionally setting up a specific contest to win, controlling the performances of less desirable acts that had a shot. Seems too early to make such a claim here.

They've had many other performers on the show over the years who had professional experience and they keep rehashing this same old tired claim. Simon himself has even said, on the show, that there is no rule about being professional.

Not sure how it’s a fix when no one has won it yet lol. It’s a show that showcases talent and that is what the show is doing. The media needs to chill out! May the best act win 🎉

Tearing someone down, by screaming "professional" or "it was rigged" are attempts to soothe a bruised ego.

Obviously too many jealous people around. Sydnie used her talent and worked, rehearsed so hard to finally get closer to her goal, whitch she said in an interview, would be performing in a leading role. I just don´t get, that this should be a crime. It is called "BGT", not "BGOHT" (only hidden). Also I still am not convinced about the style people communicate in the internet. I wonder if anybody of the coward commentators would dare to tell her in the face

Sydni is entitled to compete and win! She has never had a singer career before and she has proven she can sing .Go Sydni .you have all of our votes ! You can do it! Don't be bother by jealousy of some not worth a second of your time .Sing snd perform to win!

Well I feel extremely lucky to have seen Sydnie Christmas on BGT as I live in New Zealand I’m 65 years old and the chance of me ever seeing her perform on West End is next to zero so I am delighted that BGT is open to all! Sydnie has an extraordinary talent and I feel privileged to have heard her sing.❤

She is very talented. Britain's got talent.

She’s not really a professional al singer. She sang a part in a show which was on in the West End. It wasn’t a lead and she is not working as a singer there now. I don’t see what the problem is. She is trying to get a break so she is offered roles in shows and BGT is perfect for that. There’s been many semi pros who have been On BGT and there wasn’t an issue then. So why make a big deal out of it now? The American version has a lot of professionals auditioning and perform in the semis. They can’t limit singers to only being of the “sing in the shower” variety.

She's worked on cruise ships, not in the west end yet.. so that is true.. she has been building up to working in the west end by doing years of theatre in different places, but her dream of west end work is not yet accomplished & i commend her for trying to achieve her goal..

LOL I think the only couple legitimate winners with no previous experience of being paid, or being brought in from previous talent completions as a ringer was Grace VanderWaal and I believe Jackie Evancho as far the voice and Xfactor I do not know! I do not think it matters as long as they aren't pushed by a false narrative! After all it don't say America's or Brittan's new Talent right! Thanks Richard enjoyed it p.s. Let's recap : Sydnie Christmas has loved performing all her life, went to a school for the performing arts, worked at it for seven plus years ( 1/4 of her life ), supported herself with whatever work she could, refined her craft with nothing less than 100% commitment, has accepted constructive criticism and developed herself further, and now has taken the rather large step of putting herself in the line of fire on an internationally know production for all talent. Maybe her 'NAY-SAYERS' could just take their 'JACK-ASS-BRAYING' opinions and, like today's news in front of me, put it to use tomorrow behind me!

Unfortunately in the UK there is this weird thing that happens.... Who remembers Jack and Tim? Simon's golden buzzer that got shat on by everyone and God because Jack had been on The Voice Kids and was a performer in "School of Rock" ya, on the West End... Y'all got some funny ways of trashing folks just for fun or something.

Its incredible how many people don't understand how fixed and corrupt bgt and all cowls franchises are. These acts are hand picked and guaranteed they will progress to next round. They are given a persona to play out. Yes i have a grudge against bgt for never letting me get to producer round. But nothing on cowls show is not scripted in terms of acts and audience reaction. Of course she didn't need a sob story because they hand picked her to deliberately sing so called Simons least favourite song. Cowl is in on it but i believe not the other judges but cowl pushes them to strategic decisions. She of course is already a stage star.
