Here is a flight that my family took in the early 90's from Ibiza to East Midlands on Britannia Airways 757. This aircraft is still flying, having been converted to a freighter for FedEx (N916FD)

5:20 - Takeoff
7:00 - Descent
9:00 - Finals

I will always remember Ibiza airport this way. The whole building had a sandy/orangey vibe to it. Stayed that way for so long! Now it's almost unrecognisable inside and out. I miss those days. And I miss nearly every flight to Ibiza from the UK being on one of these workhorses. 757 is also now becoming a thing of the past.

Hi Hannah, thanks for the comment. I haven't flown to Ibiza for many years unfortunately, but hope to visit sometime soon. I drove past Cotswold Airport a couple of weeks ago and saw many aircraft being recycled including 747's and 757's, sad sight really.

I have been on this flight numerous times as we always had family holidays in Ibiza. Then I used to go with my mates clubbing in San Antonio in the 1990’s. Happy times.
