Someone else has probably already commented this but in the Netherlands we have chocolate and sugary sprinkles that are made to put on bread. It's actually a really common thing here. Just in case you didn't already know 😉

Having been raised in Australia, I grew up eating Vegemite and still love it with butter. However, it does an amazing job on roast beef. I slather it on the roast before it goes into the oven. The outside becomes a crispy, juicy and so very flavorful. I highly recommend it.

Generally I find marmite sweeter and Vegemite more salty.and yeah- you better believe it- fairy bread is a time honoured childhood tradition here in Australia!
