After 36hrs in London visiting Windsor Castle, Paddington, Hyde Park and Knightsbridge, it was time to jump on the Heathrow Express train and get to the airport for an afternoon flight to Los Angeles.
I chose an economy seat in the upstairs cabin on the British Airways A380 towards the rear to get a good view of the wing, along with the sights flying South over Canada and the United States.
Both meal services were tasty, and plentiful, service was fantastic (there was not many passengers upstairs), and the flight departed on time, and even arrived slightly earlier.
Some great views of Mount Rainier, Mount Adams (Washington) and Mount Hood (Oregon), before the Sun set over the Western coastline.
Flying over Los Angeles at night is always a treat, the sheer size of the city is huge.
