British Airways staff threatened to call the police on passengers who did not wear masks. 

This guy and his "friends" are out to cause trouble. Why still standing when the seatbelt sign is on? I really hope BA ban them all from any other fights. No respect for the crew or the safety of other passengers. This was totally set up for a argument...why else would another 🔔 end be filming it....Ban them !!!!!

This passenger just shows absolutely no respect to this crew. The crew has no choice but they have to follow the rules.

As a worker for BA beautifully handled - don’t have a go at us because it is route specific 🤷‍♀️ if you don’t want to follow the rules of that airline I suggest on the way back you choose a different airline to fly with. We as crew do not make the rules we just enforce them for safety.

Crew were absolutely right here. It is route specific. You have chosen to fly with an airline then you follow that airlines regulations and that is final. If you have chosen to travel during a pandemic or just as the world attempts to move on from the most horrendous few years - what do you expect? The crew are working with the information they have and they have numerous other people to deal with as well as other duties that go well beyond listening to you complain and wine on. It’s people like you that make me not enjoy this job anymore. My industry has been hit hard and you would think people might just have a little more patience and courtesy as well just be grateful to fly again. I fly as passenger on a range of different airlines and their policy and procedures might be different to what I’m used to but I respect and follow them. What makes you so special and entitled. Did you also know it’s against the law to not follow instructions from the commander of an aircraft? The seat belt sign comes under that policy - another thing you and your friends seem to not understand.

They have every right to call the police if they feel it is appropriate to do so. It is against the UK law if you refuse to take instruction from the cabin crew. It is written on the safty card, so next time pay more attention to the safety card then wasting time on this kind of argument.

the amount of entitlement some people think they have is absolutely disgusting. these lovely people are just trying to do their jobs tirelessly and you’re kicking up a fuss over nothing. put your mask on and sit down for god sake

Put those guys on a no world no-fly list

Why not just do as they ask and stop arguing for no reason. They don't come to work to be spoken to like that, if they have been told the policy they have to follow it and not going to say you can take it off as they will be liable. If you're able to wear one it protects you and everyone else. you behaved like a child.

The BA website makes clear that for any destination that requires a mask to be worn it must be worn both to and from that place nothing says otherwise. The cabin crew are enforcing these rules , it is made clear as well as that refusing to follow their rules breaches the conditions of carriage and can result in removal from the plane and being banned by the airline. It is also illegal to not follow crew instructions whether you like them or not. Either wear a mask as you should do or do not fly the cabin crew do not deserve to be spoken to like that making a argument over a non issue such as wearing a cloth face mask hardly a big deal covid has not vanished wearing a mask is not a big deal. Well done to the crew for standing up for what is right BA should just make it mandatory on all routes again IMO

What a rude passenger. They had explained over and over about what the expectations were and this guy won’t have it just because he’s not getting the answer he wants. Sorry folks, in the airline industry the customer is not always right.

The person filming and the guy constantly bothering crew is a safety threat. The aircraft should of landed and these people should have been removed. Not fair on the crew how they were treated.
