Thank you so much Ruksana 💓 I appreciate all your videos helped me a lot. FYI guys the platform it's changed now it's called TLS contact I found it a bit complicated then this one
Thanks for sharing this with us! I have almost the same visa timeline as your husband and now I’m also waiting for my citizenship approval. I didn’t see where you uploaded the Life in the UK test. I wasn’t sure about it, so I uploaded under optional document. The process seems very straightforward compared to my first visa application 😅 Good luck 🤞🏽
Aww that's nice that you have the same timeline ☺️. You are going through the same feelings of relief that it's all over as we are 😆. Erm...I didn't upload it in the end...come to think of it...oops. But if I had it would have been with the optional doucments like you cuz it's not really something they ask much about for the citizenship application. It was needed more for the ILR. Hope you have heard back about your citizenship 🙏
Hi Ruksana, thank you for the helpful video. For the passport copy upload, wanted to confirm whether you created a doc scanning all the pages in the passport? Or whether it was just the front page and back page? Thank you.
This was helpful,Appreciate your help. just wondering after uploading the referee forms, do I have to send hard copies to the home office ? Since I had to write my full name at the back of the photo..
Hi, I have applied for citizenship application online but they have changed their biometrics service to TLS contact and there are no appointments availablity to book a biometrics slot or upload the documents, has anyone managed to get their appointment booked?
10:01 Im apply for mine soon, my question is if you have passports why you’re using letters for proof of living ? As it states that If you are a Non-EEA National, you need to include your passport to prove you have lived in the UK for the relevant 3- or 5-year period. Only need letters if your passport was not stamped when you entered the Uk.
Tbh, I didn't read the part about the non-EEA national. However, we know 2 others who applied through a solicitor who also submitted letters for proof. One of them was even contacted and asked to submit more as the letters they had submitted was not enough to evidence there residency. I think it's always best to be on the safe side.
I'm currently doing this for my wife, she only has bank statements and utility bills, I really didn't know they won't accept these for the 3 year spouse route.
Hi, please look at other documents such as a P60, anything form HMRC, DVLA, NHS, wifi/phone bill, other letters from the bank/council tax, not statements or bills. You can provide the same letter dated in 2 different years like a P60 from this year and another one from last year will count as 2 letters.
Hi Ruksana. i just received my ILR visa.I will be applying for British citizenship.I want to know if we can add TV license and bank statement as well as other documents as a proof of residence. Will that be okay???
Thank you for making this video. Unfortunately, a new provider is taking over - TLC contact and I've been very frustrated with their website. I can't find anywhere to upload the documents on their website. Nightmare!
@@baderaldeenabaker4575 I managed to fully sign in through the government website - I basically returned to my application and it navigated me to TLC contact website, then I gained access to everything on that website - the appointment date, the upload of the documents etc. It's a nightmare.
Hi Ruksana I have to apply for my ILR visa , can you please confirm about salary slips , for how many months i needed to upload . I was sick off from April 24 to July24 but I got sick pay from my employer. Can I use these salary slips for visa or I need to use old onces
Tbh, I never saw that but I would always submit the letters just to be on the safe side as they were clearly shown on the document checklist as something to do. I know someone who applied through a solicitor and they were asked to provide letters.
Please I didn't see the tab that says 'SUBMIT " so that documents can be submitted before attending biometrics. Is that how it works? Applicants cannot submit documents before going for appointment? Are Applicants supposed to ONLY log out after uploading? Or Applicants need to click on 'SUBMIT" which tab I didn't see on your screen anyway. Please explain
Hi, applicants cannot submit anymore so you just log out after uploading. The documents will be submitted automatically after you have your biometrics appointment.
Hi Just a quick question as this doesn't make sense to me, but why do we have to write the referee's name and D.O.B on the back of the photo that we attach to the referee's form if UKVCAS only require us to scan and upload it, am I missing something? I checked and if the applicant scans and uploads the form to the UKVCAS website there is no need to bring it to the biometrics appointment, or no mention of it that I can see anywhere.
Hi, tbh, we didn't bother as you said, it gets scanned in and cannot be seen. You don't need to take it to the biometrics appointment as it's scanned so there is no need.
Sorry I forgot to mention it that after the biometric appointment I got an email to say you’re documents as been submitted and on they email they included my middle name and I don’t know if I should email them telling them I forgot to include my middle name or I should let them get back to me first thanks 🙏
Hi thanks for wonderful video,I submitted my wife application but now I realized I forgot her middle name .how do you think correct that? If you have any ideas thanks
Hi, apologies for the late reply. I'm not sure if this can be corrected as it's all digital now but I would probably just add a letter to the uploads explaining there was a mistake due to a typo.
I have a question… do I need to send any physical copies to the UK immigration. I’m planning to do my application in a month, however I’m travelling in 2 months and I need my passport for the travel. Would this be an issue and I have to postpone my application. Thank you
Hi, you do not need to send any physical copies but they do ask you to stay in the UK until a decision has been made in case they need to reach you for any reason. Also, you will need to attend the biometrics appointment in person.
Is tenancy agreement for the houses that i rent this 5 years good as a proof of residency ? And NIN letter with address ? And also college qualifications ? Are they all enough as a proof of living here ? + both old and new passport stamps Thank you
When you applied for your husband’s ILR application, how long did you wait for his result? I applied for mine and it’s been 3 months I did not get my result yet
Hi, we heard back in 2 months but they do state that you should allow up to 6 months on a standard visa. If not after then, you can look to contact them.
Hello, Ruksana. Thank you very much for your helpful videos. I did extension visa with your videos. I still have time (about 11 month) to apply for ILR and citizenship. But there is an issue with referrer. As far as I know, one of the referees must be non-British. My husband's close friend is non-British, but he will be moving out of Britain in a few months. My question is: Is there a reference period? Can I get a reference from him now?
Hi, I can see that your question has been answered already but yes, one of your refrees does not have to be non-British. Just a professional and a friend is all you need.
Hi, applicants cannot submit anymore so you just log out after uploading. The documents will be submitted automatically after you have your biometrics appointment.
Hi Ruksana thanks for your video I applied two weeks ago and did my biometric last week but looking at your video I realised that I did not put my middle name on the online application foam just my first and last but all of my documents like passport,ILR card,English test and life in uk all as my middle name so I don’t know if it’s going to be an issue or they will just send the certificate with or without my middle name and with the documents I didn’t realise that I can’t use bank statements which I included with my 5 years p60 and 5 years council tax bill and with the part that says have you make any application before I said no but I did for my 5 years family member of EU and again for my ILR I just hope there won’t be any issues with my application pls reply me am terrified thanks
Hi, I am not sure what will happen with you missing your middle name out, hopefully you have enough other letters for it not to matter that you included council taxes/bank statements. I am not sure it will matter that you have had other application but put no but I think it might be wise for you to contact UKVI and/or an immigration solicitor to give you peace of mind because my answer is only what I think, not what I know.
I have an indefinite leave to remain stamp on my passport I came to UK 2007, do I still need BRP card or can I apply for a NATURALIZATION without? I also already done the B1 test and passed please can you reply much appreciated 🙏
Hi, I don't know much about the ILR stamp so you may have to check this with a solicitor. I know cards are no longer being issued and it is all online now but again, this sounds different to your situation.
Hi 👋 I couldn’t couldn’t upload two files of (old and new passport) it keep saying size should be less than 6MB so i put page by page i found myself uploading more than 30 files only in passport section is that ok ? Or it should be file by file and each file contains all pages ? Thank you
Hi, you can delete up until the date of the biometrics appointment. Once you have attended the appointment, the files get submitted and then you cannot delete them.
