The fact that his ideas were used for bad things doesn’t take away the truth of the theory of evolution. The man was a product of his time, his findings however have only been further built on and demonstrably true. I don’t think religious folks are stupid. I was religious myself. I’ve only become more sceptical and my scepticism led me to leaving religion.

You have things twisted up. It was obviously a theory that was taken as true by certain countries because it fitted their ideals that they had already. Also the truth of a theory… its in the word already theory, darwin himself was honest enough and said his theory could be debunked and so it has with many examples.
The point of this video isn't about the truthfulness of the theory of evolution. It's talking about how it's been used. Also even scientists don't claim that the theory of universal ancestry is true, instead they see it as a valid theory and validity ≠ truthfulness. Absolute truth of revelation leads to rejection of a universal common ancestor but it doesn't lead to rejection of evolution itself.

@@osassabi2202 it's more accurate to describe them as limitations or challenges, and the reason why the results aren't conclusive is because the sets of data we have produced all kinds of theories to explain the beginning of life, and that it is based on assumptions that are not backed by empirical evidence, as far as my understanding goes
