As a Dutchy I approve of this! And I think the Dutch scene is a bit underrated. Whe have some nice bands here, and have played a part in Death Metal history.
It's not that it's underrated, but there are not many metal bands in your country. I've been living in the Netherlands for 2 years and I rarely see a metalhead on the street... everyone here is into fucking EDM
Anyone who knows their DM history knows the Dutch played an important part early on. Regardless of how the scene is today. Much like the Florida scene isn't what it used to be. Still a heritage to be very proud of \m/

Check some Soviet thrash metal bands (Aspid, Korroziya Metalla, Master, Shah). Maybe they'll inspire you to make another riffs battle (Teuthonic thrash metal VS Slavic thrash metal or something).
awesome! would have liked a riff from Symphonies of Sickness from Carcass instead tho. It was one of the first great death metal albums before the massive explosion of bands in the early 90's

Definitely. British Death Metal is more diffused, only i know: Gorefest, Pestilence, Asphyx and Sinister, from Dutch Death Metal and the others bands sound great. Thank you Suffocater!!

Yup, from Enschede near the German border. So does the original Asphyx line up. That area used to be part of the greater the "Boer area" (after Bay Area, meaning famers area since it's rural). It had a very prolific death metal scene in the nineties and 2000 and several venues that programmed metal on a weekly basis.
No Thanatos!? They were my first death metal band I have ever listened (not counting Death: Leprosy) and maybe the only dutch I knew. From Enslavement to Oblitaration is a masterpiece.
Awesome as usual. Personal faves are carcass and desecrator . That desecrator riff is amazing. I had all these bands in original vinyls plus loads of others . Moved into a shared accommodation and some junkie out of his mind came in and put a chip pan on then went to his room and passed out. Anyway a huge fire ensured and burnt the bloody house down. What was left was fucked by smoke damage and then all the water from the fire brigade fucked the rest. Broke my heart seeing all my precious vinyl gone. Had all the carcass albums most of the bolt thrower plus desecrators subconscious release albums amongst over 500 plus ( last time I counted them) plus probably many more. A technics SL turntable loads of other stuff. Had it not happened the collection would of been worth a small fortune. Complete collections of bands like Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica most of Iron Maiden, Motorhead plus loads of rare picture discs Inc iron maiden box sets and a large amount of black metal , death metal original black Sabbath Ozzy era etc , was very proud and kept them in immaculate condition. Very sad but such great times listening to such inspirational music. Sorry to be a downer but listening to this reminds me of all that good stuff.
