I thought circumsised penises are less sensitive because they get strengthened from all the chafing from underwear etc, kinda like walking barefoot all your life or working with your hands.
The preponderance of the most recent medical study finds that circumcision does not reduce sensitivity, and that the foreskin is not the most sensitive portion.
@@Objectified No, they're lying either for misguided religious or cultural reasons, or more likely to maintain that sweet paycheck that the industry of circumcision provides. "Losing" circumcision would mean the loss of a huge amount of money for the medical industry. Above all there is no rational reason to do such unnecessary surgery to unconsenting people.
I got circumcised as an adult in my late 30s due to a medical issue. As far as sensitivity goes (since you asked), when you're immediately circumcised, the head is very sensitive, because the hood that's been covering it for years is suddenly gone, and not it's exposed to the "elements" (underwear etc.), and it take a bit of time to get used to... however, the head becomes desensitized within a matter of weeks, as it becomes the outer part of skin, and you don't even notice it anymore. So, to answer your question, the uncircumcised penis is more sensitive, because the foreskin maintains the sensitivity of the head, by acting as an outer protective layer. The head is also has more moisture by comparison, because the foreskin retains the moisture on the head, where as a circumcised head tends to be more dried out. The moisture with an uncircumcised penis is a natural benefit as it conditions the head, but if not cleaned properly and regularly, it can cause hygiene issues. There's also a natural odor with an uncircumcised penis (not to be confused with a "bad" odor as a result of some kind of infection or medical issue), where as a circumcised penis has no odor (again, if cleaned properly)... whether that natural odor is considered a positive, normal, or negative thing is often due to cultural conditioning. I was concerned about the ramifications of getting circumcised (I didn't have a choice, I had to do it for medical issues), and found that there are all sorts of weird communities who think circumcision is mutilation, people wanting their foreskin back etc. and then the other extreme where people think anything other than a circumcised penis is disgusting and abnormal. It's all very strange. After living with both for years, I can honestly say that it doesn't matter either way. Sex is no more or less pleasurable either way, I don't feel any more clean being circumcised (cause I wash properly), I don't feel like I've lost a part of myself etc. It's really a silly thing to worry about unless you have a medical issue that makes either way uncomfortable to live with.
The difference is you made that decision on your own as an adult. And most circumcisions are done without a medical need behind it. The reasons are often just culture/religion. What about "My body my choice" here? If your newborn is healthy then there's no need to cut anything. Simple as that.
@@onlyfoes Well, I didn't really have a choice, I had to have it done, but yes, it is different because it was a medical procedure that had to be done. I don't really have a strong opinion on the "you stole my foreskin without my consent" debate... I guess, sure, you could make the "my body, my choice" argument, but I guess the reason I don't have a strong opinion about it is that it doesn't really make much of a difference in terms of the function of the penis, or even one's quality of life, it's more the thought of having something taken without consent. In my experience, the differences I talk about are nuanced, and there really is not better or worse way of being... if anything, it's easier to keep oneself clean and fungus free when you're circumcised.
The mums comment that you have to be Jewish in the uk to be circumsised is not true, a lot depends if the doctors or nurses think you might have complications later on in life if your foreskin is either too long or too tight
Right on the money Mountainpeak!! Same exact story for me too. Even the timeframe when I had it done is the same. No problems with skin-less Johnny for me whatsoever ever since!!
Imagine a culture/religion that makes you cut the 2 last fingers on your baby's hands. Wouldn't it be mutilation ? Circumcision is exactly the same, you cut a part of someone else without any sort of consent.
The circumcision thing here in the US is actually kinda dark. The guy who pushed that agenda within the Christian community was one of the founders of the Kellogg corporation (yeah, the cereal company) and he was super conservative and religious. He thought that snipping boys would stop them from masturbating when they got older because he thought it was a sin.
@@FranciscoMartinez-369Correct, John, the doctor Kellogg (who helped make cereal originally before his brother took it and ran with it), was involved with circumcision but didn't push for it unilaterally. He only promoted it among those with masturbation issues. Circumcision became popular as a supposed prevention method for STDs and because OBGYNs advocated for it as part of the birthing process.
Fun fact: The original creator of Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane does most of the voices of the main characters, Peter, Stewie, Brian, Quagmireand Tom Tucker(news guy). Love your reacts 🤣🤣
It's not a religious war. While certain individuals might be strongly influenced by their religion, you still have two ethnic groups who both think the land should be theirs because it's their ancestral homeland. Take away their religions and they're not going to just stop fighting.
I was born in Alaska and my parents told the dr not to circumcise me, i grew up initially thinking there was something wrong with me because all my friends were circumcised and i wasn’t, until my parents explained it to me when i expressed fear to them about taking a shower in PE class and what would the other boys say about my elephant’s trunk? 😂
To answer about circumcisions... I was born in Scotland, so I was not circumcised when I was born. I had the procedure done when I was 19, in the U.S. Sensitivity was by far greater before circumcision. It took approximately 6 weeks to desensitize myself after the procedure.
A buddy of mine got circumcised when he was in his early 30's. While he was in the hospital, he looked under the blankets and told me, "My God it's swollen!" The nurse came in and looked at it and said, "It looks like there's no swelling." He couldn't get out of there fast enough to recover at home. lmfao
Brilliant as always! The entire circumcision and religious conversations over Family Guy, y'all had me literally dying laughing!!!!! As a daily watcher, you guys are 100% on to something here! It is cleaner and more hygienic, especially in a warmer climate in a colder climate where water is running all day do as you will. Circumcision was common in the UK until the early to mid 1900s.
@@digitaltennisshoes nope. Money. Everything is money. Unless your Shwabbian globalist, then control is your boner medication. Money is just the tool. For goy's like us money is the boner pill of life.
@@digitaltennisshoes The cleaner and hygienic myth has been debunked. It's also cleaner to not be born, but you can't have it both ways, It's easy to wash and keep clean, parents have to change diapers any way, if they are too lazy to do a good clean then a foreskin is the least of your problems.
@@digitaltennisshoes Have there been any impact in UK due to less circumcision rates? FYI, not just UK, in most of Europe alos, male circumcision rates are low

Re: the praying at a football (american) game. I went to Catholic school, and i am sure you're all aware based on some of your reacts that high school football is huge here in the states. my high school was 5A and competed against all of the local 5A level schools, but there was only one other Catholic high school that qualified as 5A in the state and they were our rival. Both schools are about a hundred years old, and both have a huge winning legacy. Their school was Jesuit, ours was Franciscan. before every game our priests would bless the field and the players from the 50 yard line, good game, no injuries, etc. But for the rivalry game, our priest would take the field on our side in his brown robes and their priest would take the field on their side in his black robes both facing each other and praying for a good game, no injuries... but i always wondered. hahaha
I think it should just be round Robin you know. The priest both pray for a good game, but that their side wins. Whichever side wins obviously has gods favor and the other team and school are disbanded. By the time the season is over, all religious questions will be answered.😁
I'd say its not religion that's the root issue but those who seek power and control of others. You'll find that religion and government work hand in hand. The religion itself isn't the issue as most urge their followers to be peaceful. Those in power who influence events in their respective part of the world are the root cause of the issue when it comes down to it. Religion is simply the means in which they manipulate people.
Well said Chris. It's essentially one of the most effective tools (perhaps due to it's faith based aspect) used by those seeking to control the masses for their nefarious purposes, whereas the religious teachings themselves don't seem to be harmful.
At the end of close basketball, games and American football games, even soccer games, I see in England, for decades now I’ve been watching fans doing what I call the prayer signs- clamping hands together under chin, over lower part of the face, putting hands in the typical prayer format below, or at the lower part of their face, looking at the ceiling, and seeing a word or two, or a combination of all these. It’s so obvious when the TV pans to them in the bleachers. It is inevitable and so common that I’m surprised after this long I’ve not heard one commentator bring it up.
I always thought praying for the outcome of a football game was the most shallow trivial thing one could pray for. I imagine Jesus saying "Are you serious? As much as there is wrong in the world and you want me to fix a football game for you? Go to hell, pal." 🤣🤣
Love these videos but the difference in volume between the Family Guy voices and your laughs is huge lol I have to turn it way up to hear the show then way down again when y’all laugh. Just a technical critique. Great reaction anyway 👍
Josh from Los Angeles, my brothers are all circumcised, except me ha my mom said it was because it would have been an extra 3 days in the hospital, and didn't want to be there 3 more days. So I'm like the odd man out here in the US haha
that's odd. i'm latino too and me and my two brothers are all intact. i've always thought most latinos are intact, but i guess it's not something you'd really know. hahaha
Not just the UK, most of Europe's men are intact, male circumcision rates are very low there, even in the whole world more than 2/3rds of men are intact
Love your content - but uncircumcised penises are more sensitive because the head isn't constantly rubbing on your underwear or whatever. Circumcised penises build up a very slight 'callus' for protection.
Actually the circumcision process actually helps with prevention of infections or problems down the line in the us thats a standard for that besides that im not sure if theres anything about it but could be as well
I think, and I don't know for sure, but I think that uncircumcised would be more sensitive. I'm circumcised and and it's not that sensitive. Wouldn't circumcision cut nerves off?
The preponderance of the most recent medical study finds that circumcision does not reduce sensitivity, and that the foreskin is not the most sensitive portion.
@@Objectified Foreskin contains nearly 20000 nerve endings, & frenulum is one of the most erogenous parts of the whole body which is completely or almost completely removed during circumcision, foreskin is also there to act as a natural lubricant with its gliding action, these are absent in circumcised penis, this is why you hear circumcised men saying circumcision has made them last longer
Actually, uncircumcised penises are MORE sensitive that those that are circumcised. The present study shows in a large cohort of men, based on self-assessment, that the foreskin has erogenous sensitivity. It is shown that the foreskin is more sensitive than the uncircumcised glans mucosa, which means that after circumcision genital sensitivity is lost
I think the common sentiment in a situation where two people pray for 2 irreconcilable outcomes is that God responded to one of their prayers because he believed they deserved the positive outcome, while he left the other's prayers unanswered because he saw no merit in in the positive outcome and instead wished to send that person a message, or to test their faith in him, or have them reflect on what they couldve done better on their end to achieve their positive outcome without relying so much on God picking up the slack.for them. God doesnt protect everyone from pain all the time, because it is only through our many trials and tribulations that we become stronger in our character and thus more capable of even greater heights
Please make sure the volume on the video is Louder from now on... I have to turn my volume all the way up to hear the video, but as soon as you guys laugh or talk, it almost breaks my eardrums.
