Farming most of my life and have made thousands of bales over the years and still love watching your videos with my 3 little girls here who constantly ask me to check if theirs a new one. 👍👏 Btw we had a little mf loader exactly like that before and it's quite easy and relatively cheap to put a 3rd service on it to use a bale squeeze. You just need to get a "6 port diverter" and plumb it into the tip circuit. I have a spare one here if you want it free to a good home. 😉😂
Hey Tom, so sorry we missed this comment and how special it is for a number of reasons. Really put a smile on our faces. How do I take you up on your bale squeezer offer? Or am I too late? All the best! Ru & Sarah
@@flankfarm it's the valve block that you need for that little mf loader that I have so ye will have the 3rd service to operate a bale squeeze that I have. As i said its relatively easy to fit and i can explain or any mechanic their would sort it no problem. I'm in the south of Ireland and I'd be willing to post it and any extra bits i have that you might need no problem. It will mean that your loader will have the extra service to operate any hydraulic attachment such as a bale squeeze or a grab. Is theirs some way of direct messaging your address?
@@tomcarrigan843 far too kind Tom, thanks so much for reaching out. Absolutely, a good email is hello@flankfarm.com if you'd like to send me one there?
sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I love any tips you can offer me.
I really loved the shots of the Red Kite, taken from above. They’re wonderful birds and a beautiful sight to watch as they twist and turn using that forked tail to guide them, whilst riding on the air currents. Lovely videos. Thanks Rufus.
I live in middle Tennessee and it strikes me as funny as you are saying you are burning up at 82, it is usually in the high 80's or low 90's when we put up the first two cutting. I enjoy seeing how y'all farm and how we leave cattle out all winter and y'all put them up in barns. All the best to you and yours and may you stay healthy, happy and safe.
We watched the Spring video yesterday and now the summer one. Totally different to each other, but equally interesting. I spent most of my working life in farming, both with cows and arable. You are both very relaxed about the whole process. It’s a pleasure to see you carrying out those seasonal tasks, without losing your patience (or tempers). Tomorrow it will be the Autumn one. Thanks for sharing. Good luck to you both.
Joyous. Keep up the wonderful work. It’s such a treat to share in your family’s wonderful farm. Your mum is a treasure and your film making is incredibly beautiful and moving and I love the humour too. Thank you so much for making these tremendous films x
What a fantastic process!!! We’ve enjoyed these fields for many years and never knew what’s involved,, my boys used to love climbing to the top of a hay bale and feeling like on top of the world!!!....and yes you really must get a Bale Squeezer,,,,poking holes in nice sealed silage bales is not the one!! Your Dad would have loved watching these Vlogs !!!
I love your videos and your beautiful Mom with her antiquated machinery! I love what you said about slowing down and the things that matter. While we wait for the whole world to recover from this virus- we can continue to appreciate what we have right now. Thank you so much! I am a fan and I keep looking forward to your new videos.
Its always a pleasure to get the crop cut and baled even better when it's in the shed. Stunning video guys camera work is great. I use two 1960's David Brown tractors to make mine slowly but surely they do the job. Your mum is such a gem.
Love to sit down and watch these as a treat. Old tractors are special. I learn so much from you and have added new ideas and dreams for our small based on what you have filmed. Never underestimate the power of video. You may be talking about hay, and I may be picking out stock information from the background.
To you and your naritive and the camera man . Thankyou Really nice vidios and teaching on farming for us city folks thankyou To you and your mum and all involved.
I just love your videos, you are very talented filmmakers... and of course your mum is a legend, her passion and enthusiasm is infectious and I’ll never get bored of watching her. 🙂
I always look forward to your vlogs. You and your mum are just great together and love listening to her stories and your funny commentaries. They are a real joy and delight to watch. Thank you for all you do to bring them to us.

Literally my favourite farming channel 🥰 your videos are so heart-some to watch and just remind me of me and my dad farming! Wish there was more uploads because I could watch a new video everyday 👌🏻❤️
Hello from Brazil. I love watching your videos! Your mother really is a true gem! This video made my day and I hope some day I could have a experience in a British farm.
This was just as beautiful as the others you e posted. Learning about haymaking isn’t something I ever thought I’d do, but you make it so enjoyable. Please keep posting these beautiful videos.
Enough already, you win, I want to be a farmer. // And you say it'll be much of the same next time, Oh thank God for that. // Truly, truly, the very best of farming videos.
Great vid hay making is such a great time of year when the sun is out drying the hay your mum does a fantastic job I'm a farmer from northern Ireland :)
When we were setting up our tractor to have a set of hydraulics out the front we put in an electronic switch in with a bit ton so you can push it and the any you would tilt the forks then runs the third function
If i had the time and the money i sure would like to visit some of these farms in England. Your family farm and the Pembertons. Time and money being the 2 things i am short of at the.moment
Great video! I'm so glad for your mum that the haymaking and sileage-making was a success! Perhaps you should set up a GoFundMe page for her desired piece of kit?
Your videos are a charming, well made, beautifully narrated view of the countryside and farming life. Like everyone else, I love your Mum but, as a Christian, it does upset me to hear her take God's name in vain. Please will you ask her stop using God's name in this way? I don't want to stop watching your videos but, if she continues to do so, I may have to.
