I would have loved to have seen that ploughing match, but now I no longer drive, it's not easy to get to the places. I loved the new ram with his wrinkled face. Very unusual. That was cheap for a ram, from what I've seen on the television farming programmes. A new tractor for mum. Looks like another Massey! But that was a lovely chat all round. Thanks Rufus.

Hello from mid spring in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales (alt 900m). We have the usual variable weather, horrendous hayfever and way too much garden work. My youngest son is getting married in our garden in 4 weeks so lots to do. We've put the beefers into the dam paddock and Barry the Bull back in his own paddock and put Bella (Jersey ex-housecow) in with him for 6 weeks. The dorper sheep had 3 lambs but unrestrained village dogs got two of them 🤬. We ran a workshop for friends who wanted to learn how to butcher sheep for the freezer. Chicken eggs in the incubator, spring veg seedlings in the veg patch and lengthening days. Looking forward to seeing more about your new ram
How are the chickens and geese doing? Does the fox still come visiting? Did the bird flu affect your birds? Does it worry you to have so much straw in the barn when you have just recovered from the fire? Always a great update video!
Hi guys love your farming videos keep it up. I do have a quick question I'm just wondering how I can get into farming I used to work on a dairy farm between the ages of 7 to 13 which I stopped working on when they closed their doors forever after they were hit heavy with foot and mouth I'm now 33 going on 34 I'm currently studying mixed farming with the horticultural correspondence college and im just wondering what would be your advice on the best way of getting back into farming.
