Currently India is the only first country to complete nuclear trial in the world. Also only country with thorium nuclear weapon. Also has the world's fastest hypersonic cruise missile bhramos.
Cruise missile doesn’t matter much. Ballistic missiles are the one that make a difference. And ,....brahmos 1 is not hypersonic. Brahmos 2 is not yet commissioned in my knowledge.

British were colonial powers who held areas only for their interests/administration/loot and not for any love or noble cause. Had they unified India, how come we had around 500+ princely states after independence. They took 200 years and couldn't (didn't) do so what Indian army did in less than 10 years. 4. Chanakya had repeatedly called "Aryavrata" long back against foreigners (Romans). His student finally managed to unite a large part of the country into single administration without causing massive casualties. It's called Maurayan Empire. Almost entire India has been United multiple times before by administrator but only the British rule was the most ruthless. 5. Concept of Hindus didn't come up after 1800's. It existed since long before. Infact, communal riots came up after British came to India. Earlier the rulers were communal but normal people never indulged themselves. 6. What British did was simply destroyed a great state, broke it's cultural heritage, education system beyond recognition and this they did uniformly across India. Again this was done to make their administration better and make India their colony. 7. The India that we see now is not thanks to British but thanks to Sardar Patel who united India under one flag. If you don't concur, just search for India post independence. That unification saved masses from wars by "native" landlords.

India post independence (before Patel intervention) was no different than from Pre British era except that that regional kings were weaker. Constitution, Republic, Federal system , all were post independence events which defined the Union of India. 3. By your logic, Hitler was the greatest nationalist and by your logic a tyrant is the benefactor as the oppressed becomes United. British were never noble for Indians. Despite having a plethora of Indian kings, pre British era was a time when Indian were very rich and even common man lived much more happily.25% was the contribution of India to world GDP! Have you ever heard of any famine pre British era ? Taxes during British Raj was the highest and all our industries were systematically destroyed. It was not inevitable due to Industrial revolution. We can be amply sure that any such development would have been imported to the place of labour and raw material by Indians themselves. That being said, I am not anti British but definitely probably I value them much lesser. I do acknowledge that caste system, and social reforms was easier. But apart from it, British era was a doom!

We should admit that India was a weak country even before Britishers came. If India was rich and had the power, why would we let them rule for 300 years?? The armies sizes and equipment reflect the physical size of each country simple as that. India is 12 times the size of the British Isles and conversely has a population to match so logically it has the military equipment neccessary to defend its huge borders. What's so shocking about that.

@Sanskari Nari there’s many horrible things part of my countries history as well, at many points in history the English were oppressed by other foreign powers, such as the Celts (native Britons) were slaughtered or forced into Roman culture, the Anglo Saxons (Germanic tribes that migrated to England) were tortured, killed, r@ped and enslaved by the Viking’s, but you don’t see me hating on Italy or Scandinavia for our bad history.
