I don’t see any problem with someone being proud of someone’s wife or gf who is courageously talking in Tagalog . Anyone who appreciates her courage and efforts would be so proud of such person’s efforts , be it be someone’s foreign bf / hubby or wife/ gf . . So Wouldn’t you be? She’s getting better, and I’m a bit jealous given that I lost my Tagalog/illocano; and trying to relearn is hard. Although I understand more than I speak.
