@@adamskyj69 Stewards are mostly voluntary they are not paid , those higher up (Driver stewards & FIA) have more responsibility. You cant blame volunteers, pay them!
@@MrRRSODL Hamilton and Mercedes as a whole pushed the rules several times when they were under pressure, from going off track, pushing people, hell Hamilton was allowed to finish a race on 3 wheels. Theres always been massive inconsistencies in motorsports, and the best teams/drivers will push the rules as much as they can, anything to get a few tenths and win.
@@MrRRSODL Hahaha, talk to Rosberg, talk to Alonso, look at Hamilton almost killing Max at Silverstone. Hamilton is just as dirty as all other drivers are. You have to drive on the edge when the cars are comparable. That's what makes one driver better than the next, to take risks in a better way.
@@woutkoopmanHamilton has had his dirty driving moments for sure but nowhere near as many as Max , for him it's his main tactic. At times it's been the only way he could win . Schumacher did the same when under major threat.
omg!!! just accept the fact that what he did is not fair. he does something bad and people can't say it out loud because it makes Max look bad? like be fr. He definitely was in the wrong in the laps prior to that incident. Had the roles been reversed, you guys would have been loud on all platforms.
@@ange-j.k.8618omgggggg! Just accept the fact that lando divebombing from the outside on a hairpin while not going on the curb to set a better race for both of them was shit
@@KarenTondro take your time and read better next time. I clearly mentioned the laps prior to the incident, the movement under braking etc. but your bias makes you blind to reason. All good
So if the stewards where slow to apply the time penalty for track limits on Lando then the accident wouldn't have happened as the gap would have been there. Lando did have room on the outside to move over with out going over track limits look at the footage properly,
It's not about the incident silly. It's about the irregular moves prior to that. You guys are so blinded by your love for max it's disgusting. Moving under braking is not allowed, let that sink
@@ange-j.k.8618 I'm all orange team and the other RB team, not the main team but then I'm an Australian so it kinda makes sense. We all want anyone but Lando to beat Max, but Lando was the one attacking so he had a choice. Max was clearly wrong, doesn't change that, Lando was coming from behind had better vision and room on the outside.
@@markshearer1831 alright I hear you. But again, I'm less concerned about the incident but more about the moving under braking because it's something Max does often when under pressure and it's never been addressed by the stewards. This time, because it resulted in a collision he did get penalised, but he should always, at the very least be warned of that behaviour. And every time Horner or Verstappen himself is asked about it he always writes it off as "thats just how I race and you should learn how to navigate me." Such nonsense
Zack Brown and Andrea Stella actually want the Honda engine in the Mc-Laren Adrian Newey and Max Verstappen, but they do not say this outright because Lando is now at the top of his game, but the F1 car of Mc Laren is by far the fastest of all but Max Verstappen is difficult to beat, the RB 20 is slower and more difficult to drive, what Max Verstappen shows is the level of Schumacher and Senna, Lando Norris is not even close compared to those three names, okay, Lewis Hamilton is also included that list of names but not Lando
@@okidoki878Max crashes all the time, I mean everyone knows it. Professional stewards are a must, and they should be held to some standard with things under review. Premier League referees decisions are reviewed they even issue apologies when they get it wrong. I think that level of accountability can only make it better
@@mrgejwaitesall the time? Mate the last time he crashed was at Austria and that was due to lando being more hotheaded than the head of the fucking sun
@@KarenTondro in the context that he's had no opposition for the last 2 years. Max caused the incident and got the penalty, not sure how that's Landos fault.
Zak just speaking absolute nonsense about respect, when their social media team bashed Max in every occasion they could and stirred the fire more and more in an utterly disrespectful way. So first be respectful yourself then you might expect something in return.
That Zak is acting like quite the sneaky bastard! it makes him small and not really impressive... fortunately his wrong and bad behavior was actually exposed by his driver Lando after having a good conversation with Max. And not to mention all professional opinions regarding this incident that also confirm him wrong. So Zak is just a little bastard :-
00:17 "Epic battle between two of the best drivers...." I'm sorry but Lando doesn't come close to Max as a driver. Second, Lando risked an overtaking maneuver on Max from behind during a turn. It's common knowledge among drivers that if you attempt to pass in a turn, the leading driver will close the gap.
@@user-yt7jb7kk1i whats your point? Only race winners can have an opinion? Give me a copy of the survey, rather than confusing the words "most" with "several" just to try and sound cool.
Everybody wants fights, but then if it happens everybody runs to the rulebook. The common opinion seems to be that if you have someone behind you who is faster you have to let him pass, because if you move it's moving under braking and that's not allowed supposedly. But if you're in front you are always going to brake earlier than the car behind you, so how are you supposed to defend otherwise?
the stewards gave him ten second penalty and 2 license points for what Zac himself said was a minor touch ... and that's not good enough? Zac is being a baby that won't be satisfied until Max says 'Im sorry'
What about when they rejoined the track after contact and Max still tried to push Lando off, even though they both had damage! Surely that’s a DQ for max?
I also saw a movement from Lando. They were both fighting at that point, quite childlish behaviour. Remember, Mclaren has those sharp edges in their front wing. Lando's move came just a second after the first collision. And I am fan of them both. Where Max was wrong was when he was "pushed" off and didn't give the place back. He was not pushed, he drove off himself.
I’m sick of this reporter insisting on the Lando/Max incident, they moved on! Just ask interesting questions and shut up already with the Lando/Max thing, what a lousy reporter; like a cheap newspaper reporter just looking to make the situations to bleed and bleed…
Thank God Hamilton's father and other British drivers' fathers behaved respectfully over the years it baffles me how the British media worship so much at the fee of Max while the same ones try to destroy Hamilton's reputation with some of the most scathing articles and analyses I've seen over the years. Incidentally, this is not the case on the continent they worship at the feet of Max too, but it is understandable that they disparage Hamilton with equal measure so it begs the question- why do you think?
Agreed. in the sprint race Lando had an almost carbon copy pass and Max sloved down, stayed on track and got in behind. on lap 63 he desided to accelrate and overtake outside the track. Max should 100% have redressed the position after that.
The stewards are part time positions..as I’ve understood each track is responsible for acquiring its own for races..many are voluntary..you look at all top sports and they hold local communities hostage over free labor…
Zak: careful what you wish for, one day, if you're lucky you might be out in front and Lando or Oscar won't be able to defend because you and the Brits whinged and moaned to get stricter rules. Max barely moved and every driver on the grid would have done the same!!!!!!
horner and marko should stop parenting on max, the man is a 3 time wc, let him deal with his own problem and behaviour on the race.. i agree with zak, its about time someone need to criticise the leadership on redbull team..
Typical Zack as always only trying to stir up negative conversations about Redbull. I would love the see his attitude if it was the other way around! Even Toto is trying to stay neutral about what happened and about Max.
The only part from Zack that I didn’t like is after he speaks about max breaking the rules and needing discipline he goes on to say they should forget about track limits if you are attempting to pass ? Unwilling to admit fault on his own team not following rules , how can you expect us to take it as non biased.
@@Alumnikiid Lando said he deliberately did it after the race and said he wanted max to crash so he can close the gap. He also said he'll do it every race and try to take max out.
It’s a consequences based penalty. If no damage to either car it wouldn’t have been a penalty. It’s what the drivers have been complaining about, that the penalties aren’t consistant
Nice to hear Zack expressing his opinion in a solid and respectful way. He's calling for sporting and respectful behaviour across the board, from all teams and drivers, and making a point that the limit pushing Red Bull embrace is not within the spirit of motor racing. He's not stirring negativity, it's actually a very positive thing in the big picture.
No he is definitely stirring the pot , he called the cost cap , which was years ago and wouldn't have won him any titles if RB were dsq , he also mentioned Jos which had absolutely no need , just speak on Max and Red Bull if he must
Everyone is pushing that the track squeeze/crash was the main issue. It shouldn't be, the double defensive moves should be, that cost lando and max getting away with it led to the additional aggression from lando.
Zak is so dirty, always trying to create a bad image for Red Bull, for Horner and for Max. McLaren was the team fine 100M for spying Ferrari, not Red Bull.
brown is being way too nice. yes it is partly on stewards for not enforcing the rules on max alone. but it is more on max he is the one breaking the rules intentionally. he is doing these things knowing he will get away with it while others wouldnt. this response is weak. his driver also rolled over and showed his belly right away. stella went aggressive but they left him offside. stella has every right to not rush and defend lando again. i wouldnt wanna be a mclaren fan right now. this is like turning your other cheek. dont cry when they slap you again and again. keep at it
i wonder if horner wa there would he say it exactly the way he did cause this guy always talks when people aint there.... at least horner doesn give a shit he will do it face to face.
Toto needs to answer the obvious question after his teams clashes on this issue. Is regulation which will allow say ocar t bone max on every race for the rest of the season to stop him winning the constructors' championship this year which has happened in F1 history ? ? Or does Toto now concedes enough is enough, this sport is racing not stock car racing which kills people ? The millions of pounds invested F1 is at stake, should F1 now sacrifice max to preserve those investors and fans interests ? No person is bigger than the sport ..
