@@100cents5actually not . I am from gorkha district and gorkha vaneko ni gaiko raksha gauraksha bata aako ho. Pahila dekhi nai gauraksha bandai gorkha vako ho anyway gorakhnath ko ta jhan mahima nai beglai xa. Jay gorakhnath nai pyaaro lagxa. Jay nepal
Gorkha is not caste name . Gorkha is a district in Nepal which came from Gau(cow) rakshya. Means place where cow is protected. And king prithibinarayan shah was the king of gorkhali and founder of Modern Nepal. Guru gorakhnath give blessing to king prithibinarayan shah to unified this land. I myself from Gorkha. Gurung, magar were mostly in warrior. So british got influced with them and took them in britian called royal gurkhas. Gorkha is Nepal a place not caste or anything.
Former Indian Army Chief of Staff Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw once stated that:] "If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or he is a Gurkha."
Men, you've been honed into one of the most feared and respected fighting forces in the world. Now, we must....DANCE!!! You get these "jazz hands" wrong you might be missing a finger.
@Nein1ron , Do you know what else helps with those things? Training, drills, sparing etc. just like everything else. And it looks less goofy, as well. "And up next, ladies and gentlemen...The United States Navy SEALS have a new tap number they'd like to share!"
You will never meet a better soldier, under adversity they keep smiling have a great sense of humour but do not upset them as they are as tough as steel. To get a posting to a Gurkha Regiment you have to pass out of Sandhurst in the top 5%.
@keshab s mo pani Tamang ho ni.... N mero Appa pani gorkha ma hunu hunthiyo But ailey service garnu huncha... Thikkai cha ni ...tara india ma chum Hami garnu
@keshab s Haina ni huncha Yesto... Hami sansari bhari ko nepali Akk basnu parcha anta akka dusra lai support garnu parcha hai... Tapai sanga kura garey ra ramro lagyo... God bless you
Well done Gurkha! In my opinion, somehow they are treated much better in British than in India in term of wages, benefits, turn-out & bearings, and last but not least - dignity and respect. One of classic example I find it very comedy for those young men did their marching in India as compare to British. Maybe I m shallow hehe..
@Darkhorse Lol we hired them because they managed to fuck us up, If you can't beat them, pay them and let them join your army, we respect Ghurkas and their traditions fuck to work with them you have to have a class on Nepali customs.
@Darkhorse this just is not true a ghurka gets paid the exact same as a normal serving soldier in the british army and the british army does not send them in to where it is tought they send the sas also ghurkas are well loved by the british army also they get deployed like a normal fucking soldier so stop making shit up that sounds good cause it isn't fucking true
i think u havent heard about napali tradition, culture and about the bravery of nepalis soldiers(gorkhalis)........almost all heard about the gorkhalis soldiers and everyone knows the nepalis music and and importance about this khukuri dance...my friend u are very backward in this world...so think before u speak..
Indian Gurkha Regiment is stronger than any seal or spetsnaz. One Gurkha can kill an entire hoard of terrorists. Proud of my Country and Gurkha Brothers.
Very disappointing, they just waved pointy sticks and spun about slowly! I saw a video of a Russian army dance and it was much better, they didn't even need a fancy stage and orchestra!
Dude it's their main weapon the Russians can't use them and in terms of battle go and hear stories about Laachiman Gurung and many more Gurkha soldiers they are the bravest of brave in the world even Hitler said that if he had Gurkha in his army then no one in the world would've been able to stop him and don't make fun of their dance it's their tradition and each slash means decapitation meaning you should kill the enemy within 2 blows and they need to go there 36 weeks of hard and cruel selection process in which out of 10,000 only 300 get selected every year
it would not be funny anymore when they(gurkhas) draw out their traditional knife called (khukuri) and next the minute u know it....your blood be dripping on their khukuri...
