yeah for some reason it does that a lot. Which is funny because the american accent(think similar to transatlantic) is the original british accent. the current british accent is a branch of english influenced by posh multicultural Italian/french/german people. EDIT: if doubtful try imagining Shakespear's writing performed in a modern british accent. The enunciation and proNOUNciations are not quite right. Ian McKellen does shakespear a lot and when he does he sounds a lot more like a 1900s east coast tycoon than his typical speaking voice)
