One thing Overlooked about us Americans is our passion. I’ve watched many (USA vs ... )videos. We are often called loud, ignorant, too patriotic, we believe we are the best thing since sliced bread etc. What they miss is the why. We don’t have the rich history experienced elsewhere, we are made up of so many different peoples. The only thing we have, that unifies us are sports, love of country, our military, our space program. We are passionate for what we do have, we made it all from scratch. 244 years is not a long time but we make the best of it. We are making traditions in real time.

Nocona Roubideaux Don’t forget that we also abolished slavery; at the time, it wasn’t land theft; it’s a lot more complicated than those two words. It helped form a nation, and most of those peoples/tribes were compensated. Others not; that’s a topic for another debate. Finally, you mention racism. It’s about come to the time where the only people who mention racism, are in fact racists themselves. This country is over that. We’ve had black, Hispanic , Asian members of Congress. We also had Obama. There was no one mentioning race here but you. So, like I said the only one who mentions racism, might be one himself . 🤔🤔

Ya'll signed fucking treaties and broke them to take more land. Lone Wolf v. Hitchcock happened in 1901 and its still a valid US law. I don't know what the fuck you wanna call that but it sure sound like land theft to me. The country is over racism? Tell that to Trayvon Martin, Philando Castile, all the people at Standing Rock, and basically any fucking person of color. Obama? Giving one black man a job doesn't mean racism ends the day he starts. The one who mentions racism is the one who is racist? Maybe the one who mentions racism are the people who go through racism. I'm assuming you're white so the worst shit you gotta deal with in race relations is being called racist. Shit must be tough.

Nowhere on earth are people of color more successful than in America. Not to mention for every Trayvon martin and Philando Castile I can give you a white person brutally murdered by a black in America. These are college (or “university”) teams. We do LOVE them here in the USA. And no, the marchers on the field are not military. They’re the school band (aka a “marching band”).

We play the national anthem before any event that has a large crowd. It is hard to explain to non-americans why it is important to us, but I will do my best. The flag and the anthem represent a struggle and a war we should have lost. But somehow we won, our great great great grandfathers fought and died for us to have our own country, and this is how we show respect to them, and remember we are here and have our own country because of them

Btw a recommendation. If u want to go to a proper football game YOU GOTTA GO TO A SNOW COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME. That is just a ritual. This sport is a religion up here in the midwest. And a snow game is a ritual. Nothing is better in football then playing in a snow game. The little kid in you comes out.
