As one of your regular viewer who happens to be french this was unexpected :0 This song was super popular when it came out it was on TV and the radio a lot I sometimes revisit it for nostalgia sake haha My recommendation may seem a bit strange but it would be to react to a trio called L.E.J those 3 french woman make mashups (they do all the vocals and music) they recently-ish did one of the 80's music thats dope and an amazing Hip-hop mashup but almost every year they do a Summer [year] mashup all of them are dope, they also have great original songs. Saw them live at a free concert this summer they are incredible!

Indila's song is really incredible. Her voice is amazing. It's a french song, but there a lot of influences in the music and in her voice. I think France as a lot of influences so it's hard to have a definition of a french style. Music is still universal. It doesn't need to identify borders.

Yooooo France being honored by reactions yo! Indila (In-dee-la) is an amazing artist. I am not too knowledgeable about her discography, I was always avoiding the radio as much as possible as a young lad, my musical education was made by my mother, my father and my aunt. A few artists/songs I can recommend from France: - Manau / La tribu de Dana - Kyo / Dernière danse (no relation whatsoever to Indila's) - Gerald de Palmas / J'en rêve encore - Gerald de Palmas / Une seule vie - Noir Désir / Le vent l'emportera - Louise attaque / Je t'emmène au vent - Miche Sardou / Les lacs du Connemara - Jean Ferrat / Que la montagne est belle - Georges Brassens / La mauvaise réputation - Pierre Bachelet / Pleure pas Boulou There are a fucking metric ton more of them, but that's just a *small* list of songs I grew up on, and I absolutely do NOT expect you to react to them all, but I'd love to at least have your impressions on them, even as just a reply to this comment. Algerians, always opening their big mouths for nothing, Indila is not Algerian she is French of Indian origin "Indila" and Egyptian. In Algeria she would be a waitress or a prostitute, it is thanks to France that she is the artist she is today, like many descendants of immigrants in this country.

I also like "S.O.S" or " Love story" like other said from her but another song that I like is "Parle à ta tête" that she did after a long break. For an other artist I like Tarik, he is not a singer but rapper or slam ? I don't really know the difference.>∆< but the lyrics or soooo good and make me cry so many times. Some recommandations of french music (or more music in french because lots of our cousin from Wallonie (french part of Belgium) make carrier in France too (and often became part of famous "french" artist) : - Pomme (i said and repeat, Pomme is amazing) - Stromae - Angele - Eddy De Pretto I think the hardest part of reacting to french music it's because lots of artist doesn't put subtitles in their video.... I m late to the party but since apparently nobody mentioned that "My sweet suffering" in french , sounds like "my sweet France" as sung by Charles Trainet (Douce France vs Douce souffrance) It adds quite a lot to the meaning of the song considering she s of north african origin....
