We finally took the British High schoolers for a school trip to UK's Korea Town!
After buying all the Korean snacks and goodies they could find, we came to one of our favourite Korean restaurants in London, Jingogae, to give them their first multi-course legit Korean meal.

I assume that Josh and Ollie probably never intended on making SO MANY videos with these boys but i'm so so glad they did. They're all so comfortable and funny, open-minded, charismatic. It's really cool to see. What a great group of young guys.

@@arissajoan nope I know the school. It’s an all boys school but it’s just your normal government school. Not private if that’s what you’re asking. It’s just because of the location in London the school is in you may think that because of their accents and the tone/words of language used.

What I like about these boys is that they're respectful when they don't like something. They just said that, no, it's not my taste simple as that. There was no need for insulting the food that was made with a different culture. It's showing respect that not a lot of adults have .

Keaton and Caleb's critiques were lovely and eloquent. I'm happy that Jack had some non-spicy foods. Malachi and Unashe's expressions are great to watch, and proud of Deavon using chopsticks. Can wait for the next episode!

My favourite thing about this series is that I've been stumped about where to send my son for Senior school (we live in Central London). Fulham boys school is now at the top of our list. These boys are such wonderful ambassadors for their school!

if you've watched the video where josh has korean bbq with the head master you'll understand little more as to why these young men carry themselves so gracefully. a head master, with that much passion and care towards his students (backed with a positive vision of what a school/education should be), is undoubtedly going to create a great community.

다른 나라의 문화를 존중하고 예의를 지켜야 한다는 교육을 잘 받은 학생들이라고 느껴서 보기 좋아요. 그런데 조금은 더 편하게 표현해도 괜찮을 것 같아요. 사랑스러운 영국학생들 입맛에 맞지 않으면 (좋은 표현 찾지 않고 ^^) 안 맞는다고 해도 돼요. 💕

영국인이라 그래요. 어른에게 '밥먹어'를 못하고 '진지 드세요' 또는 '식사하세요' 라고 말 할 수 밖에 없는 한국어 처럼. 특히 런던 언어가 좀 더 그런 특색이 있답니다:-)

난 이걸보면서 영국이란 나라에 대해 다시금 곱씹어 보게 됨. 어쩜 아이들이 맛에 대한 자신의생각을 저렇게 자유롭게.. 다채롭게.. 은유적인 표현으로 묘사하면서 얘기할수 있는건지 신기했음.

개인적으로 전세계에 선진국이라고 부를 수 있는 나라는 영국 밖에 없다고 생각함. 100년간 할인율을 계산할 수 있는 유일한 나라이고, 국가에서 진취적인 일을 해서 폭망해도 국민들이 크게 개의치 않음. 예를 들어 도로 민영화를 가장 처음한 나라가 영국임. 이미 1800년대에 턴파이크라는 우마차 도로를 민영화로 운영하다가 대차게 말아먹었고, 그걸 참고로 해서 프랑스나 이탈리아는 민영화 잘 운영하고 있음. ㅎㅎ (물론 영국은 그 때의 트라우마로 도로 민영화 안하지만.)

Keaton and Jack are so sassy, funny, and witty. I love this duo they are so chaoticly fun 😂 I would also like to applaud Deavon for buying that cute Pororo training chopsticks, that was wholesome I'd get myself one even if I already know how to use chopsticks simply because it's cute 😂 Thank you so much Korean Englishman for letting the boys have this amazing korean meal experience as well as the korean store haul. I love how Keaton and Caleb tried their best to describe how the foods taste like. Salute to Jack for trying the foods even though he can't handle the spice and Deavon's commitment on learning how to use the chopsticks. Malachi and Unashe "raw what?" cracked me up. These boys are so elonquent and honest about how they feel about the foods. They were hesitant to taste a couple of dishes but they still tried them and politely say if they liked it or not. Love these boys so much!

진짜 리얼 찐 한식이네요. 개인적으로 무조건 좋다고 말하는것보다 호불호를 정중하면서도 재치있게 말해주는 학생들의 반응이 좋아서 이 시리즈를 보게됩니다. 오히려 이런 솔직한 반응들이 한식의 세계화를 위해 어떻게 방향성을 잡아야할지를 보여주는것같아요. 그나저나 부대찌개ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 오래전에 미국시민이 된 친구도 스팸얘기하니까 질색하면서 절대 먹지않는다고 하던데 영국남자가 학생들에게 선보였군요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

KEATON의 음식에 대한 표현력이 남달라요. 굉장히 문학적. 다른 친구들도 모두 귀엽고 처음 접한 음식에 대한 선입견으로 거부하거나 불편해 할 수도 있는데 시도하고 최대한 예의를 갖춰 말하고 즐겁게 식사하는 십대들의 감수성이 느껴져 미소지으며 봤어요

한국 사람들도 모든 음식에 만족할 수 없어요. 영국 사람들에게 한국 음식이 좋을 수도 있고 싫을 수도 있음을 항상 생각해야 합니다. 영국 사람들도 영국 음식이 좋은 사람들도 있지만 싫은 사람들도 있으니까요. 한국 음식에 대한 좋은 반응을 원하는게 아니라 다양함을 원하는 채널이 되었으면 합니다. 항상 좋은 영상 감사합니다.

맞죠.. 한국인이 아닌 사람이 느끼는 객관적인 소감을 좀더 볼수있는 영상이 좀더 필요한 시점인거 같아요. 건강한 비판은 언제든 들을 준비가 되어야 합니다.

I love how they all express joy together at each food..and no matter who is doubtful, they all jump in no matter what. Not a single boy flat out refused a dish.

솔직히 영국 고등학생분들도 본인들 나라에서의 식사 문화와 대한민국의 식사문화도 다를테고, 맛이나 사용하는 향신료, 밑반찬들이 다를텐데 다른 나라의 음식에 아무런 거리낌없이 도전한다는게 너무 멋있고 감사한 일인것 같아요 !! 앞으로도 영국남자팀이 영국 뿐만아니라 전세계적으로 대한민국의 식사문화, 여러문화를 널리 알려주시고 자랑스럽게 만들어주실 생각을하니 벌써 너무 기대가 돼요ㅠㅠ!! 앞으로도 열심히 응원할테니까 꼭 영국에서 아프지 마시고 고등학생 분들과 재미있는 콘텐츠 많이 만들어주세요🥰🥰🥰

한국인 입장에선 스텐다드지만 매울텐데도 열심히 먹고 감상평을 해주는 모습이~~~ 왜 영국을 신사의나라 라고 하는지 알것 같네요. 어린 학생들도 편견보다는 일단 맛보고 정중하게 판단해 주는 모습이 멋지다고 생각합니다!!!👍👍

Honestly a really fun series with The Fulham School boys. They're a joy to watch! I'm sure the older boys who moved on to university are missing these meals. Perhaps a spin off in the making? 🤞👍☺️ And definitely a trip to Korea 🇰🇷 should be in the cards. So much to see, learn & experience 🤗💜🙏

틀린말은 아님. 육회 제대로 할려면 생고기써야하는데 생고기는 보관기관도 짧아서 생고기 육회전문점에서나 씀.. 다른데는 다 냉동고기로 육회함.

우리 나라 반찬들은 꼭 *밥*이랑 같이 먹는 것을 알려주면 좋을 것 같아요. 우리나라 사람들도 김치만 그냥 먹어보기도 하지만, 본격적 식사에선 밥이랑 먹고 뜨끈한 밥이랑 먹을때 더 맛이 빛나니요^^ 좋은 취지의 의미있는 영상 잘 봤습니다. 모두 귀엽고 순수해보이는 영국 고등학생들 ^^* 뽀로로 젓가락 구매해 온 학생👍

한국사람인 나도 날것 안좋아해서 육회 안먹고, 밖에서 오징어볶음이나 매운 김치 먹으면 너무 아프고 땀나 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 그래서 저렇게 예측할 수 없는 음식을 먹는 아이들의 태도가 너무 대단하게 느껴지네. 한편으로는 너무 좋은 얘기만 하려고 노력하는 건 아닐까 미안하기도 하고 고맙기도 하고...나도 피시 앤 칩스랑 스콘 겁나 좋아해 얘들아. 다른 건 뭐가 있는지 잘 몰라서 미안 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

These kids are honestly so fun to watch. I love seeing them on the channel now and it's so nice seeing them experience some Korean culture with open minds. When COVID relaxes and it is safer, I'd love to see them go to Korea on a group trip.

I always love Keaton's comment about the foods, that parable tho, beautiful. Caleb also described the foods in a very detailed way, both of them have the talent to be a food critic. And of course, Unashe's face when he's too stunned is always priceless. Very honest and funny 🤣
