The Spitting in the face was real. He couldn’t open his eyes or move. All he was able to do was spit to show he was still alive. He had lost so much blood they couldn’t get a pulse or heart beat. Spitting was all he could muster

A nurse also kept pinching him on the flight to Japan because she was afraid he would die on the fight, forget his remarks on her but it was funny. One of his speeches to a school has his story in detail from himself. There are also a few videos out there from his fellow soldiers that confirmed the story.

Roy is 100% a legend. Not only for his 6 hours in hell,but he also took on the social security administration in Washington on behalf of all veterans. In uniform. Well stated, except for the character nearly extinct, and I’ll tell you why. David Bellevia; Sal Guinta; Ed Beyers; Rob O’Neill; Marcus Luttrell; Michael Murphy; Dakota Meyers; Michael Monsoor; Clint Romesea; Kyle Carpenter; Ty Carter; Patrick Payne; Captain Froberg; (only ones I could think of off the top) Perhaps you recognize these names. These warrior patriots are of the post baby boomer generation. They’re all labeled, but regardless, they’ve all carried America on their backs during the 17 year long wars. The poor character are the rioters and protesters who aren’t smart enough to do anything about having their cause hijacked by communists and democrats(can be used interchangeably). Those who prop up the division in America, democrats mainly, big tech, deep staters, THEY ARE THE ONES WITH CHARACTER ISSUES. May the Lord deal with them and give them what they deserve.
@roymoore3156

@Thomas Bell What are you talking about? You clearly are confused. There’s a sensitive spot I see? Clearly not in touch with real world. If someone makes a completely asinine remark that denigrates American servicemen, I will not be silent. If the truth about sell-out democrats and antifa loving democratic operatives is tough to hear, so be it. The mere concept of using the military is the most profound political statement possible. Anymore politics, crooked and criminal, are in just about everything America is. The democrats have fashioned a severely compromised system. With China owning the California Democratic Party, and those yokels in “leadership” positions nationally, we are at the brink I’m afraid, and China is waiting for their cue from cocaine Mitch, or the compromised Californian delegation, to begin issuing their orders. Look at the NBA, they’ve cowered to China in deference to the USA, all for MONEY. They’ve sold us out, all while crying racism and prejudice! They’ll stand fir Chinas anthem, but protest ours! ENOUGH!! They will get their just dessert, as all will.

Growing up I was in Boy Scouts & saw him speak quite often. He frequently spoke at youth groups, civic groups, & others. Had an extremely giving heart & determination unmatched by anyone I've ever met. When he spoke his wife would sit off to 1 side & would frequently "catch" his words as he'd get going & slip into that stereotypical rough language of field units. He came to 1 of the Scouts' local swim meets & afterwards we had an open swim. He actually brought his trunks & changed so he could join in our fun. When he stepped out of the locker room the entire area fell quiet as we could all see his numerous scars. With a couple of cuss words he told us to get a quick look, slowly spun around, then joined in out rough housing. His words & actions played a huge part in my joining the Army in the late '80's.

Every American soldier I've ever met was more proud to be a Texan. At Fort Bragg, NC I first heard the Texan soldiers say, "Don't Mess With Texas." They are true warriors and Roy Benevidez is LEGEND.

Yeah the stories are true, my dad was Air Force in Nam 68 to 74. He told me the story. The man was bigger than life, agent orange, did want no knife or bullet could do, much respect my dad had for Roy, even though he never meet him, he went to his funeral in 98. Go watch the other videos on Roy, he was a humble man to the end...

Bro you gotta do the Seal who got shot 37 times in Iraq. He smoked the fools who blasted him, then walked to the extraction point.

This goes to show everyone, it's not about race, it's about the quality of character... We're all human. And some are better than others, because of their character.

He is worth his medal. Better man than I will ever be and his race has nothing to do with that.

well as MEXICANS we are still proud of Benavidez. nothing you can say can discredit his honor and his accomplishments. funny how yall were the first ones to make it about race when it supposedly doesnt matter. seems like your just bitter and envious of who MSG Benavidez is and represents in his community 🇲🇽

These type of stories make me think that he was doing the best living not caring about dying. His acts, determination, devotion and relentlessness are 2nd to none. I actually got some tears now. Wow

When he spat he was aiming at Death standing behind the Doctor and missed due to the blood glued shut eyes. Even Death was impressed at that point and backed off.
