British Railways 2022-Greenford & West Ealing With Turbo 165 Train Ride + Class 59, 345, 387 & 800

It's September 2022 and i'm out at Greenford to see the ex British Rail Network SouthEast class 165 Turbo DMU at work on the Greenford Branch. Supposedy to be replaced by a Vivarail battery powered D Stock, i thought i'd go and ride on one before they finish. Since this trip, Vivarail is in administration and they scheme may not go ahead. Here we see the Turbo arrive at Greenford and experience a ride to South Greenford. At West Ealing we see the Turbo leave, Crossrail class 345's and Great Western 387 & 800 IEPs along with a Freightliner class 59 on a Mendip stone empties working from Acton Yard. When I was a kid I lived just down the road from South Greenford station. My Mum was getting on the train (which was a Class 121 bubble car in those days) with my sister's pram. The door shut behind her and the train left! I remember her screaming, the train stopping and then rumbling back to come and pick me up. Obviously I was spotter even then as I thought it was great to see the train from a different angle. Thanks for the upload!

I'd be surprised if they replace them on this service now, seeing as Vivarail are in administration. GWR have handed back their triple powered (diesel/AC/DC) class 769s already, without ever using them!

TfL should operate a shuttle service between West Ealing-Greenford and to retain the Class 165.

Went on this last summer, very interesting route, pity it doesn’t go into Paddington anymore 😢.

I traveled the line as well last year and when Drayton green was announced as London's least used station before Christmas, that was subject to another visit And when a railtour traversed the route on Saturday 14.01.23 - I was there
