Yo mate, finally reviewing some good Romanian music, I enjoyed the other videos you made too, but it's good to see that you're looking away from the mainstream Romanian artists. Anyways, you have so many other artists to check like Doc, Fratii Grime, Cred ca sunt extraterestru, Vlad Dobrescu, Specii (chimie and Dragonu ak47), Flow Rege, Kepa, more from Deliric and Subcarpati and many others. These are the people who changed the Romanian music, audience and of course live shows, they brought it to a completely other level. Btw, Deliric, Doc and Vlad Dobrescu were part of CTC rap crew, they are still collaborating to this day and they go quite often in the UK for live shows. You should see them live, actually all these artists I mentioned can perform really well live, which I think it's really important and it's a must for any person who calls themselves a singer. BEAN MC, the guy from Subcarpati collaborates with another band Suie Paparude, it's different but worth to check it. Cheers mate, keep it up
So, basically, Subcarpati is a band, it's not just one dude, but the guy you've seen mostly singing in the clips, he is the main singer. In this song though, he is featuring Motanu, which is another rap artist under the Subcarpati collective, they're not just a one-man-band. They have multiple artists that are in the Subcarpati band, also Jadore is not even close to Rap nor Hip-Hop, he is mostly singing gypsy music, which in Romanian is called "manele". I don't know, but I felt bad seeing that you tried your best to listen to Jadore and some of your viewers tricked you. So I would like to add here that the instrument is called CAVAL, Subcarpati is not a hip-hop band, is a mix of electronic music with hip-hop and folk. The reason why they choose folk is because is an under rated type of music at the moment in Romania by the youngsters, is sad but this is the truth. Their subjects are motivation, love, friendship, patriotism, no hate, promoting good things for us like what to follow and what to do in our life. They are unique.

Dude , absolutely amazing job . we're the organisers of London gigs with Subcarpati , CTC (Deliric's band ) + several more quality romanian bands . Unfortunately the gigs are taking a break now , but let's keep in touch when we're back on the scene. Subcarpati's gig at Electric Ballroom in London was meant to be on 18th of April , got posponed to 18th of April 2021 unfortunatelly . Deliric (solo and alongside his band mates DOC and Vlad Dobrescu, from C.T.C.) creates the smartest rap in Romania. His name is a wordplay between 'delirium' and 'lyrics'. Also, it would be cool if someone would translate them in English or other languages but that would be so incredibly hard and it would lose a lot of its sense, because the way the phrases, the rhymes, the words themselves on the beat, the way those are crafted make sense only in Romanian :) Cheers for bringing these musical gems to light! 😎
Subcarpati is basically old romanian country side music, remixed. Thats why they have flute and all those instruments playing. They are doing a great job. You should listen to Balada romanului from subcarpati, or robot armasar attak from argatu. They are on the same page and sounds great. 😊
The flutes are traditional in Romania music and the flues part music from Subcarpați are part of instrumental traditional songs. Also the Subcarpați are a geografic region in Romania. Romanians are the best of the best at playing the flute and the nai. You should hear Gheorghe Zamfir his the best in the world at nai and his Romanian.

Hey, you should be aware that there are some of these Romanian songs completely translated into English if you search the song name followed by "lyrics english". Many of them don't (can't) keep the original rhymes, but in 90% of cases you'll figure out the message. If there are no translations for the song, you're free to Google Translate the Romanian lyrics to a lower degree of quality. Good luck :)

Subcarpati is a public project in Romania that is free and all their music is free to download on their website. The band is called subcarapti and it has a lot of members. The "flutes" are not classical , they are traditional to our country and they are called caval , bucium , flaut etc... Subcarpati takes OLD romanian FOLK music and transforms it in ways that people in our generation can like and enjoy. The fast raper was motanu and Calin Han was on the " flutes" . Subcarpati have unique style because they are using Romanian Folk influences ,like the flute you have heard, that's why we don't hear someone close to their style.
You could also try following: Stradavarius - Ma cheama; Stradavarius is actualy a project of lots of romanian rappers and under Stradavarius you will find lots of good songs, that’s my point.
@NYAL. Mate Subcarpati ( english: Subcarpathians) It's to be seen more like a musical project. There are a dozen of musicians and artists that are behind the project and more or less come and go. They take Romanian folklore music ( for example the sound you here from the flute named CAVAL) and mix it with Rap, Electro Beats and even Rock on older albums though the main focus remains Folklore and Rap. The guy You liked so much it's called Motanu' and he is actually a newcomer. This collaboration was his first chance with the pros so to speak. He has potential and it remains to be seen if he comes out with a solo album and does well or not.
