@@brianspence2251 Spence is my maiden name! I thought it was so interesting to see your name pop up on the video, and I wondered if we share any resemblances.
as any good host or presenter.. he also feeds off the energy of the different people he is with. The topic might be the same, but the different people involved change it up naturally.
I'm still not convinced about Charles' existence. Edit: I have witnessed some legit proof, so I've come to the conclusion that Charles, definitely exists.
I just love how they actually tried it first with Rev. Chris before anyone else lol. Josh is pretty clueless with Rev. Chris but is very confident when he tries it with other soldiers 🤣
Youre supposed to put the “poundcake“ in the “steamer“ as well. And put little chocolate bits, you normally get on the side, in there as well. Get the chocolate molten, and put it as a chocolate-spread on the steamed poundcake. Thats how Korean soldiers eat it.
“This is my first ever time I’m tasting Science.” “Just Hold the Battle, I’m eating, I’ll be there in an hour.” Them Twins and their Humour I can’t even.
I really hope you could film Charles and Chris in one frame of your video at some point in the future!!!
It's the JOY for me, the genuine unbridled joy from Josh mainly. Introducing things he loves to his countrymen. And then their surprise and happiness discovering they really like it! Reminds me of my youth with friends. Traveling this weekend for first time in years and will see friends haven't in ages. Hope we have some of the joy these guys had!
poundcake. I GOT THE JOKE NOW. Took me over like 2 years figuring why that is it was funny and of course I wouldn't know, "sounds cheap" and it's poundcake. and pound is money from UK therefore cheep. I finally got the joke!
I’m korean but i was raised in the united states. I’ve served in the US marine corps and i’ve trained with both british royal marines and south korean marines. I grew up watching british tv shows on public television and a lot of music i listen to is from the uk. Oh, and my girlfriend is welsh, but she has lived in the united states since she was 12. This is what life is like in the 21st century
After watching some of these reaction vids, I've gotta say that generally speaking, ordinary Britishers are some of the wittiest and most humorous people in existence. No wonder such funny sitcoms and comedy shows are coming out of UK.
"Well there's an army out there that can cook a whole 3 course meal by just pulling a little plastic thing" Chris is my favourite person on the planet. Every video he's in, has me cracking up so bad
@@KZ-hu9uj He was talking about how it;'s odd that they share the same sense of humour. It has nothing to do with how one is raised. It's all about personality, and they seem to share that personality trait.
Wow, I'm VERY impressed with the Korean Army rations! The taste was great and it was amazing how they had a way of heating the water in the bag/box to provide a hot meal!!
@@chocozsix2767 i'm not that proficient in english too but i think he means that the poundcake is way too dry to eat which made him feels like all the moisture of his body dried up/dehydrated too
Interesting seeing the soldiers surprised by the noodles being cooked in a bag with a small heat pack. American MREs also have that type of heating mechanism.
@@therealnether Not used by UK forces as they have BV's in vehicles and all carry Jet Boils. You need hot water for tea...and FRH's aren't great for that.
What the heck!? xD It's more like just the same person in two different uniforms!! They look quite alike, that's exactly what we call "identical twins", right? They resemble each other even in the sound of laughing and the sense of humor!!!
I'm Korean but I'll be the first to admit that the steam bag is just magnesium. Most military rations/ camping ration use that to heat up meals. You go to an REI and you get MRE with magnesium packs inside of them. It reacts to water activating the magnesium superheating it to crazy high temperatures. Very common... definitely not Korean magic
Was a bit shocked at how surprised they were by it tbh. The Americans have pretty much the same thing so I always assumed most NATO countries (at the very least UK/Canada) would as well. Good to see Koreas troops are fed good as well though!
In Malaysia we have that steam bag instant food. It's called Kembara. Definitely not an MRE, but it is advertising as outdoor food and emergency food. That makes it accessible to civillians
This is sooooo interesting. I thought the people from the army are... you know, cold or having a hard serious and tough personality at all times, but oh boy I was wrong. They were all hilarious, amazing, and super nice!!! BIG RESPECT FOR THEM ALL!!!!
A friend of mine is in the army. He has an ant farm, dresses in everyday life like an old English Gentleman. Yesterday I got a video where his colleagues used him as a ram against boxes. Oh and minutes later them lying on a rack sleeping lol
It's basically what happened in WW1, it was customary to not battle during meal times, so soliders would sorta extend their cooking times and deliberately fan the smell of cooking in the direction of the enemy
Wow! How forward is this, kudos whoever has been behind the Korean army packaging & on the go boiling bags etc. 🇬🇧 food is clearly backwards. Hopefully it’s changed now & our soldiers all get hot meals like this. That would be so good to know 🙏🏼🧿
