This was a great format for displaying BA! Absolutely continue doing end of turn reporting! Ive always appreciated your content but I was never able to actually follow the games, but this time I felt truly involved. Throw in a few crucial dice rolls and you have a winner!
16:40 It's interesting to see how the cover rules are different at other places. When I started to play we didn't play with cover shooting out at all, and in my frist (and only) tournament so far I learned the 1" rule too.
Yeah man its fascinating for sure! I definitely interpret the rules where there's a window whereby you are within an inch but not touching the edge (even 1mm away) so that it slows an opponents charge, but I guess it's all going to change in September with V3! Big takeaway is always clarify with the TO or your opponent, me and Bo explored this more in our livestream last saturday!
Nice start for your trip! You probably leveled up from that game. It was a nice change of pace using just end-of-turn reports, but I like more of those epic in-game coverages. You get the feeling of battle, hear the lamentation of your opponent and see the dice deciding the fate of armies! Hope you enjoyed your trip and did see some attractions (Legoland! Museums! Food! Beer!). I am going to watch the rest of the Denmark-saga in the coming days.
Sadly we didn't get to see much of Denmark due to the tight schedule, but we did take a nice walk on Sunday! Yes this first game really tought me a lot about facing gurkhas using a rolling defense, plus they want to smash one sector, make it a kill zone!
Games are won and lost in turn zero... positioning and deployment are key. I did spot the tank out on the left and thought what's it doing over there! And as you stated spreading forces out makes it easier for your opponent to gang up on them as they aren't in a position support each other.
love ur fins list could u please write it down and ur British one. i really enjoy ur videos and i planning to take the fins two competition this year. i was wondering what ur thoughts were on su76 used in game.
SU76i is nice and cheap, Zis mounted on a chassis is good for dodging mortars and redirecting fire support, ofc the soviet recce stuart is peak competitive build but what is life without some variety eh?! I pen and paper my lists mate cus I live that OG life, so it's as easy for you to write down the list at the beginning as it is for me to re-type it here tbh buddy.
