On October 9, Laura Plumber travelled to Egypt to visit her Egyptian other half, Omar. Laura packed over 100 Tramadol tablets in her case to help ease Omar’s bad back. Laura was stopped by police, charged with drug smuggling and forced into signing a false confession. She is now being held in a squalid and crowded cell and could face the death penalty. Laura’s sisters Rachel and Jayne, and her mum Roberta join This Morning to talk about this story.
