I've always been a Britney fan, like who hasn't, but now I'm starting to actually get into albums and songs that aren't singles, so thank you for this!!
Here's my ranking: 9. Britney Jean 8. Femme Fatale 7. Circus 6. Baby One More Time 5. Glory 4. Britney 3. Oops... I Did It Again 2. Blackout 1. In the Zone Oops was the first album I ever owned, no skips for me and I was obsessed with all the videos from this album, all the performances and all her looks from this era were just so iconic! Blackout - again no skips, so cohesive all these tracks and themes flow together so perfectly. I too didn't like this album when I first listened to it, but it slowly grew on me. In the Zone has some of her best songs, both singles and album tracks. On first glance it doesn't seem to be as cohesive as her other albums but I loved the light and shade on this album. I would consider it a perfect musical tapestry of songs. My top 5 are perfection for me though.
I really enjoyed this video, you have a nice and calm speaking voice to listen to! :) "Britney", "Oops" and some songs from "BOMT" are very nostalgic for me. I like the first half of the Circus album and I like Quicksand. Stronger is my favorite song and Shadow sounds so pretty. Femme Fatale is very catchy and I like Britney Jean, Til it's gone, Passenger and Alien are my favorites from it :)
The fact that they were literally sabotaging Britney Jean album is so insane to me. It literally would of been Britney’s Blackouttt pt 2 considering danja released some unreleased songs , which were such bops, also them censoring her music videos (perfume) and them not even promoting the album right smh 🤦♂️ so disappointing. And don’t even get me started on that chick on her album
here’s my ranking from least favorite to favorite album! 9. britney jean 8. ...baby one more time 7. oops... i did it again 6. circus 5. in the zone 4. femme fatale 3. glory 2. britney 1. blackout
I feel so messed up right now. Your explanation of Glory and the imagery behind the album makes so much sense! I did not even think about that. When I saw the artwork with the chains and such, I was like "oh she's talking about being chained down!" But now I'm like "oh my goodness the idea of mixing biblical imagery with greek and roman imagery is quite fitting for the album and specifically the album's name!" I thought maybe her son said to name is Glory because he thought the songs were good. But now I'm like, "Britney had big intentions with this album!"
I have always been a fan of classic rock, metal, and country music, and never really got into pop, R&B, or hip hop, but I do like older Madonna songs, and I appreciate you breaking down these Britney albums the way you do to help others understand what they might have missed. I have been trying to figure out what Britney album has the most natural sounding vocals and instrumentation and maybe a good ballad or two without having to listen to all of them because that would probably be confusing or annoying. One cute thing about Britney's voice is that at times it sounds like a gently squeezed cicada, which I notice a little on Baby One More Time and more on Oops I Did It Again. I'd like to keep a cicada as a pet and name it Britney, but that wouldn't make sense since only the male cicadas make the Britney sounds, and their adult lifespan is really short.

I loved this vid sm, I really enjoy seeing other ppls rankings of her albums. Also I’ve never noticed the analogy of the religious aspect of glory. It makes sense and I totally see it now! Here is my ranking from best to worst (these switch around quite often but in the zone is always number 1) 1: in the Zone 2: Blackout 3: Britney 4:BOMT 5:Glory 6:circus 7:femme fatale 8:oops I did it again 9:Britney Jean Thought I would share some of my favourite Britney songs also: Touch of my hand, Blur, I’m not a girl not yet a woman, heaven on earth, perfect lover, mood ring, I’ve just begun, inside out, and then we kiss junkie XL remix, toms diner, slave 4 you, born to make you happy, look who is talking.

Britney jean is s good album for me lol. Better than glory and circus 😂. Chilling wit you , tik tik boom, body ache , passenger are bops. Its as 2013 pop u can get with throwbacks
im not mad bc its probably my least listened britney album but im surprised circus is so low most ppl regard it as rly rly good and a shining moment in her career
@@seanrstephens agree, when I first listened to Circus, I kind of felt that it is a collection of songs that represents Brit from debut till Blackout era, quite lost in direction in terms of tracklisting
