As an enthusiast...I still cant wrap around my head...that James Holden...would remix a BRITNEY track...and actually make it sound GOOD. Mesmerizing. 10/10...FOR JAMES.
For some producers it is possible to remix big business into something, that satisfies the ears of electronic music lovers. This remix must be mindblowing on a big soundsystem, sadly i never heard this at a club. Also try the MURK remix of Britney's "Outrageous". Oscar & Ralph transformed her into some fun tribal house groover. Has this Holden Remix here ever been released on vinyl?
Love to hear, actually, that Joel brought this one back from 2005 (?) -- to anyone looking for a purchase or download: I know at the time James released it for free on his website as a bootleg, so there should be plenty of HQ versions out there. If I remember correctly, he'd tried to get this and a dub a legit release, but the label turned him down, so he just put it out there for free. This was Holden at his best. 04-05. I bet some of you never heard of James Holden before the Mau5 if you're new to him check out Lump and his remix of the sky was Pink, If deadmau5 is the only electronic music you listen to dont even bother trying to comprehend James Music
I love all these serious Progressive house types defending themselves 😂 It's a wicked remix and Britney has always had something cool about her vocals. There is no shame in liking something commercial folks
The track was always free since it was "release". From discogs : Initially made by permission, but "Breathe On Me" never became a single for Britney's 4th studio album, In The Zone, so Holden briefly hosted the two mixes as 320kbps mp3s on his website, stating:
Well the fun thing is that the original is not that bad (I mean, it's a lot less like mainstream soup than most of the other britney's songs). But the remix is soooo good, Holden is a real genius.
@Ultan89 That's generally the kinda of music deadmau5 likes though. This song definitely mainstream EDM, but it's production complexity is through the roof.

Don't forget the "video quality" is actually just a measure of how compressed the video is (for YT at least; in other scenarios, resolution doesn't affect sound quality). So this 240p video has a lower bitrate sound layer in it, whereas 720p+ is as high as the bitrate goes for RU-vid (I think it's somewhere between 192kbps and 320)
@SaleVuk thats your opinion? why not just listen to the song without telling other people its a bad song just because YOU dont like it. everybody has different tastes.
