I was thinking about this today. It poped up on my Spotify and I was like "why tf this song wasnt huge?? Literally such a bop that anticipaoed all of the catibbean/latin influence we got in 2017/2018"
Glory is such a BOP man! I was so happy, crying, when I listened to the album for the first time. It actually felt like she cared about her music again. Just Luv Me is so vulnerable and beautiful. Definitely one of my favorites now along with Touch of My Hand
@@parkerlynn9384 that's usually because Asian fans in general are more unconditionally and passionately supportive of artists. That and the fact that Japan is the second biggest music market in the world after the US.
Parker Lynn Its like a present for them and thank you because unlike most of the world they still buy physical albums and lots of them and they cost more there
@@highland_persuasion actually it's because albums in japan are expensive asf so they need a reason to have sales in the country instead of importing from usa
"Change your mind (No seas cortés)" it's in spanish😂 which means "Don't be polite" and the bridge says "I know you're trying to be educated, I know you wanna treat me right but don't be polite"
Has anyone noticed how all of Britney’s songs in all her albums are pretty good? I just don’t get why with other singers only 2-3 songs are good and then the rest suck. Britney always delivers a masterpiece!
I'm going to have to disagree here. This album is very one-note. Solid, but much like gum, loses its flavor quickly. And her debut, the majority of that album is unlistenable today.
@@jesseschutz1505 I agree, Glory is VERY boring after a few listens. All the songs start to sound the same and they are all midtempo except a few. Mood Ring is the best track and its a Japan exclusive
I love me some Brit-Brit, Glory is by far her most cohesive album. Blackout is the other essential listen. Interestingly you nailed it on the first listen: Glory starts with an invitation and ends with a Coupure Electrique - translates from French to mean: blackout..Glory feels like the evolution of Blackout
Yeahh, Blackout, Circus, In The Zone and Femme Fatale are musts 😭😭 Britney Jean too, cause it's gonna be funny 🤣🤣🤣 It would probably be like her reaction to MDNA by Madonna LOL
@@Cooperr709 Lmao I would actually pay gold to see her react to Britney Jean. I mean, some songs have bad production but it's nowhere near as bad as MDNA. I think she would just be bored or unimpressed if she reacted to Britney Jean.
@@grace19005 Yeah, indeed it's not that bad though, despite of the fact that some songs are not her voice, I actually like every song from that album, except Chillin With You which is an offensive piece of garbage 💀 She would probably like Work B and Perfume. I think she won't adore Alien because of the messy production, she wouldn't like It Should Be Easy cause of the vocoder and autotune and Chillin With You obviously. I am curious though If she would realise that something is wrong with the vocals If she ever reacts to it, I hope that Til It's Gone, Don't Cry and Hold On Tight get decent reactions 💝
@@Cooperr709 Chillin With You should be buried deep inside planet Earth and never be seen again. The thing about Britney Jean is that unlike a lot of other artists' worst albums, it's not unbearable to listen to. It has a heavy amount of auto tune and robotic sounds but it still follows...a melody and doesn't end up sounding like some of Madonna's American Life songs 💀💀
This is one of my all time favorite albums 💕 Britney is my #1 diva. Her 'oops' in Clumsy kills, her 'nah I'll just take a bow' in Private Show is perfection, and Do You Wanna Come Over slays everything
She’s amazing! Sooo inspirational and this just goes to show you that she is absolutely continuing to be one of the greats out there till this very day. She set the standard for pop music and pushed the envelope with her own unique sound and style making her stand out from the rest and still reigns in music that’s out now. She comes back stronger everytime and that’s why she is and always will be one of the industry’s top shining stars today and everyday! We love you Queen of Pop! Keep doing your thing girl, we’re here standing by you every step of the way! 💜👑🎵🔥⭐️
When I first listened to the album, my favorites were "Clumsy" and "Do You Wanna Come Over?" Now my favorites from Glory are "Love Me Down", "Hard To Forget Ya" and "Change Your Mind"!
This album came out in 2016. Fast forward to 2020. And the album is finally getting the recognition it deserves! This was slept on hard! There's not 1 song that isn't good on this album. Holy shit is all I can say. Yasssss Brit Brit!
Glory was one of the biggest album in the year and also in her career but I wish that her team push more. And also that she improves her vocals and her lyrics. I love a lot of songs in this album and the productions are dope really
I loved it because I felt it was old Britney but mature, instead of the old teeny bops like pretty girls. I commend the lyricists and producers who worked on this record cuz they did their thing
For sure react to the "Loose" album by nelly furtado. It's one of my moms and my favorite albums ever. The best selling album of the year it was released and every song is amazing. Some songs in Spanish
not many people have heard of them as they are huge in their home land Australia only but i love a band called The Veronicas maybe check out their self titled album :)
love this album and this is my fave reaction to it I have seen! my fave songs on the record are Invitation, Make Me..., Man On The Moon, Better, Change Your Mind and Just Like Me but I love the whole thing! seeing the joy it brought you made me so happy!
Love Me Down is so good. It took me time to realize it and Slumber Party is definitely a summer jam. I love Better it reminds me of Sorry by Justin Bieber and justice to Change Your Mind and Liar who could have been her biggest hits ever if there were released as singles !
i love how you always manage to be extra and funny but yet on point with the critics, and you clearly enjoy doing videos , and i'm happy your channel is blowing up.
You have got to go check out the 18th track titled Mood Ring which is a bonus track on the Japanese Deluxe Version of Glory. It’s really good, I definitely think you’ll like it for sure! Thank you so much for you’re awesome album review! You’re awesome! 😀
I LOVED watching you react to these songs! Being a britney fan I like to see how others take in her songs! You’re also hilarious! 😂 thanks for the video!
I really like this album! She had many great singles after her 4th album In the Zone (especially in the Blackout and Circus eras, which had her best tour IMO), but I feel that, as a whole, this is one of her best albums after In the Zone!
