I agree. It’s good for a while until Disney or Hollywood in general chews them up and spits them out. Way too many celebrities like Britney have broken down and got addicted to hard drugs (ex: Lindsay Lohan, Demi Lovato). It should be illegal what show biz does to kids.

plus her first single came out only a few weeks before she turned 17. In 1999 that's when she blew up and she was 19 since December 2nd 1998. She needed a good rhyme but still, She was almost 17 when it was released and took a few weeks to really get going also and when it did the song blew up like a motherfucker LOL.

I am brittanys age and it was also a HUGE argument to wear spaghetti strap tank tops-when I drop my kids off at school I always ask why there is no dress code-def a 90’s thing
People valued modesty and purity back then and dressed very conservative so although the culture would now see Britney’s outfit as normal or even innocent in this OF time with everyone being practically naked with large body counts and where finding a virgin is impossible; back then it was edgy and scandalous to even look like Britney did in this interview and magazine.. You couldn’t really show skin like that, let alone for her age.
She was so lucid, animated and lively back then. In the most recent interviews of her, she blanks out, stutters and twitches and you can hear a sadness in her voice despite her smiling. She seems so lost. There is something so off about her, you can tell that she's medicated.
What? You don't know her. Innocent looking people are not always innocent. I once worked with a girl that had the sweetest face I ever saw, but when she opened her mouth I wanted to punch her in her face. She had the worst attitude I've ever seen. Looks can be deceiving.

Today's 10- year olds look like 80's 6 year olds and today's 20-year olds look like 80's 14 year olds. Weird :/ Many people in their early 20's look like children now. Yeah, there sure must be something in what you say.New technology and medicine seem to take it's toll. I am a 90's kid (born in late 1992) so now I am 23 years old. And when I look at the pictures of my mother or grandmother when they were 23 they look much older. I look kind of childish, even though I'm formally an adult since like 5 years ago.Same case for a lot of my friends.

In the episode her celebrity persona (the clone) wears a pink wig... britney was seen for awhile wearing the same wig after her head shaving incident. This is just one of the similairities... i remember how ppl called her dumb back then based on her interviews and now it is so clear watching her answering to these questions that she could just never let herself ease, was always extremely careful with making her responses acceptable for the other person, constantly taking care of not hurting but pleasing everyone she was talking to, could not be herself for a second she just wanted to be liked by others cos she grew up with a dad who critisized her every move

feels good to see her so happy and full of life before jive completely ruined her voice, she got on a conservatorship (which she’s fighting for currently), paparazzi & kevin federline made her miserable, she was used as a money machine and forced to do things, and before she lost custody of her kids. she was never the same after her breakdown, the world really changed her. :(
I feel sorry for Britney, for someone to become so successful, to lose everything. I hope she pulls herself back up to the top. Everyone was afraid the year 2000 would bring the end of the world and I actually think it did, just not the way we expected it. Something shifted after 1999, I can't explain it but people all of a sudden became less natural, there was more hate and drifting apart, I've seen it in my own hometown and in the world in general. Britney just reminded me of that, and of how everything was more genuine and laid back before Y2K.
Yeeaah, for people like you there was definitely less hate in the world in 1950s when the US was a country for whites exclusively, when native Americans didn't have citizenship, when Black kids weren't allowed in white schools.
