sounds like she's more comfortable in a lower octave. when she goes "don't you know that you're toxic" it sounds good. other than that... all those other noises she's making....
I’m happy that she was allowed to play around and be the manic lil’ fruitcake that she is! It’s all up to the producers to determine the final tone of the song, and she delivered a lot of cheeky, fun moments and a lot of sultry, dark moments for them to play with and manipulate however they want - it’s only odd when you hear a single take because she knows ad libs are never used chronologically - she must be an editor’s dream.
Omg. There a lot of different vocals she did for this song. I watched the other videos too n it is different. She must having so much fun recording this.
Peaple say that this is her head voice but clealy is not a head voice e her famale falseto that Same falseto that maryah use to sing the most part of her song, you can realize tha existsome air in that notes, in head voice you can't see this air in voice.
this is the part where the producer just lets you go for a rehearsal run for a song but at the back of it, its recorded because sometimes the best part are the ones you don't know ur doing something great because u r not thinking but actually feeling the music opposed to being careful because you know that is the actual recording. Engineers do it all the time and get the best results. PS. She is having fun and making that creative juice flow where you do impromptu stuff and get a good match to be used for the song as a stem or a main track or possibly a sampled track over the whole song.
Okay, the verses from this one are the ones they used for the final version, she's not whispering in them and autotune obviously can't change whispering...
This was probably one of the first times she recorded the song and was just having fun with it. Not what I'd play when they pass me the aux cord but it's nice to hear her having a good time with it! ♡

Ok, so here's the proof that she can sing. The producer's need to stop making her use that baby tone and pull back on the autotune, she's capable of carrying this song on her own!
Sounds like she actually has a really good voice but she is forcing a minnie mouse baby girl voice which doesn't do her true voice justice. The lower range notes she sounds powerful. I wonder why she doesn't break away from the 90s style and do something different. She should break out of her comfort zone and do something different song wise, get away from this pop stuff.
