@@Bob_Brown having served In military for 25yrs and with a degree I studied hard enough, try not to forget that those that work outside doing manual work or similar are not uneducated unlike many who sit behind a desk pretending to be clever.
The Government whom I assume saw this coming could have set up portable solar panels in fields storing up the huge amount of energy then given freely or to a lower cost to the people of the UK who will freeze this winter. 🤔

Brighton beach looked the worst. I cant be doing with big crowds these days, all following the herd. I sat outside on the grass on my own yesterday with a gin and lemonade. Nice and relaxing away from all the noise.

Not really. The solar panel reflects the light back into the atomosphere and heat the air is very hot. Only about 20% the solar energy can be transfered into electricity energy.
